The first disturbance of the year in the north Atlantic has been marked by the National Hurricane Center. While additional development not expected at the time it was highlighted, it serves as a reminder that we may see pre-season development.

Always a pleasure! Yeah, just as last year 3 months after the SS offshore the US was actually designated, we may see something similar this year. And you’re absolutely correct 😊✅

@@WeatherGurlDanii yes, definitely most likely. In my opinion it’s most likely to have been a subtropical depression for just around 6 hours, and at the absolute most a very low end subtropical storm.
