Catastrophic severe weather impacts are expected across Oklahoma and southern Kansas today, with violent long tracking tornadoes the primary risk, prompting emergency coverage this afternoon.
Alongside the dangerous tornado threat, very large hail and destructive winds are expected from the storm line which will parade through the states this afternoon, and lose momentum as they enter Missouri and Arkansas.
