$63,900 before markups. Quick math: $6,400 down (10%) + tax and interest (7.64) 60 Months Payment: $1260 @12.5% of take home pay you should be earning $157,500 annually to be looking at this car (assuming the appropriate taxes are coming out of your paycheck). National average wage (US Census): $63795. Percentage making $150k annually: approx. 8.3% 5 Year price increase Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro: 2019 MSRP: $42,960 2024 MSRP: $63,900 49% increase Wage growth 2019-2024: 1.7% (Source: US Treasury) These price increases far outpace inflation and wage growth. Toyota is targeting 8% of total market. Or people who just want to act fiscally irresponsible😂.

It has cost 60k to get a well equipped rubicon for years. This is what happens when the government shuts down the economy and prints money for 3 years. It’s not political it’s simple economics. Increasing the supply of money without a commensurate increase in the size of the economy results in reduced value of the money ( inflation ). The published rates are lies. Look at the price of groceries or houses everything is up 20-50%. But wait gas isn’t up because we kept draining the strategic oil reserves.

Maybe a base ZR2, and Ford Raptor Competitor. -No factory front locker. - 33s not 35s factory installed. -less lift/ground clearance/Aproach/departure ect..ect. Here is a theory on Toyota’s high pricing; Toyota Corporation tired of distributors and dealers making money from unnecessary and unwanted accessories, including $4,000 “market adjustments”. So they have jacked up the MSRP on the vehicles to a level where distributors and dealers have no room to add “extras” and may have to even discount to move the inventory.
