  • @Human1337

    Look up (Operant Conditioning), you can totally climb. You just have to do it enough that your body learns that it's normal, and stops having anxiety over it. Nothing better than an experienced groundie starting to climb, they pretty much already know everything, tends to work out well for everyone.

  • @Human1337

    @Human1337

    7 жыл бұрын

    Really just did that one slash cut blocking down the trunk, mainly because I was already starting to feel a bit sick and just wanted it done already. This wood almost can't be steered, so I was using alot of drop cuts, where I normally would have notched to pull one way or another.

    I haven't tried a whole lot of gaffs, I've found that I love bashlin spurs with the opsal "cadillac" pads though. Much more comfertable than my stein x2's. Geckos are supposed to be amazing as well though, and that new pair that edelrid is coming out with this summer look amazing. I have a kask super plasma helmet, it's amazing comfy. Might have to try the Pfanner protos soon though, they're reviewed incredibly well.

    Gread video. Poplar is always interesting cuz it doesn't hinge so well. The last piece you tooke off the trunk before felling, was it just one straight angled cut, or did you do a cut on the front before the back-cut?

    No, started feeling a bit ill by that point, just one straight cut at an angle, simple and easy, leaves a big divot though.
