First Computer made of Human Brain Cells beating A.I. !?

Ғылым және технология

Artificial Intelligence is pretty much THE HOLY GRAIL of Future Technologies.
There is no big Company nor University, which is not working on the development of Artificial Intelligence.
Role models are often the superior performance of the biological brain, but that's also a lot of work.
So a development team in Australia therefore wants to save tedious development time and insert brain cells into Computers!
You may think that sounds crazy?
But their first prototype is already learning faster than traditional Artificial Intelligences of computers.
How did they even do that? This is exactly what we will talk about in this video.

As technologies advances faster and it becomes harder to keep track of it, we do our best to report about these technologies in the simplest and most entertaining way possible. Hope you have enjoyed our Video, and stay tuned for future updates on conscious a.i. :) Best Regards, The Futurist.

Just imagine a world where someone’s father, mother, grandparent; etc. passed away, but had the knowledge of organic organisms working with mechanical mechanisms and therefore can request to be placed in a mechanical mechanism humanoid body so they can share more time to see their children or grandchildren grow. I believe this technology should grow along with ways to achieve faster regeneration abilities of human cells allowing people to essentially live forever until they feel ready to leave the world (or pull the plug) by taking the brain out of the mechanical mechanism humanoid body.

@@AnCapDog144 okay, sure. However, if there is already a way that we can make a human brain work with machines, all we would need to do is come up with either a way for faster cellular regeneration rate or to slow down the cellular degeneration rate immensely and now you would have a virtually eternal life where only you can decide when you are ready to leave the world. Of course, murder would still be possibility, so of course there are still ways to leave the world not on your own terms. Also, think of all the knowledge each one of us could gain and go on to achieve more if we dedicated time towards helping the world. Dang near everything could be figured out and propel us very quickly up the khardashev scale. Ailments that terrorize peoples daily lives such as cancer could be cured in a fracture of the time it would have taken us (or if we ever would figure it out at all). When a scientist who dedicated their life to finding out something that could end up helping humanity passes away, they leave their notes behind for someone else to pick up, learn, and eventually pick up where that scientist left off. With the ability to extend our lives to virtually infinity, the “time constraints” that one has with their biological clock no longer becomes an issue unless they develop a brain disease. Which of course could also be worked towards a cure for that disease. I don’t know about you, but a world without ailments is a world I would love to live in. What I wouldn’t do for a cure for my neurological disorder is hard to say. It affects me daily, minute by minute, and I have to settle for medication that has an alternative use for psychopaths. You can’t tell me that isn’t a “safe” enough drug or a healthier medication to take. But it gets the job done… Temporarily, and even then, sometimes the neurological condition overtakes the medication dosage that I am on (the max dosage that any sane person is allowed to take). After I take those doses that do not work, I am unable to just take more as it could lead to overdosing and things could get dark and gloomy from there. That’s the issue. I want a more permanent solution so I can feel how a “normal, non-problematic” human feels day to day. I think practically everyone who has a disability that affects their day to day life and one that could potentially become life threatening would want something like this so they too can experience what living a “normal” life should and could be like. We all deserve at least that. Otherwise, why live a life where things could be different due to certain technology. Let me be the first to tell you that my life is feeling pretty damn cheap as it is. Sure, I have family and that greatly helps and I am very grateful for. But it’s like paying for quality products (a “normal” life), just to find out the parts were made in China(my life).

@@AnCapDog144 and people said a lot of things were impossible back then, but those things became possible through advancements in science and technology. I firmly believe that practically anything a person can possibly think of can be possible as science proves things that they get “looks of stupidity” over after explaining their hypotheses prior to making them a reality to others. Do you think back in the Wild West, people would imagine one day, a magical box with audio and video would ever become a thing? If so, do you think that the person who came up with the idea would have gotten laughed out of every saloon and town for saying such things? I bet you they would have! What is the entanglement theory? Does the Neuro network have entangled particles? I believe the answer is yes in the relationship to quantum computing. Neuro networks. Sir Penrose has theorized that consciousness and the communication between entangled particles may be the answer to what consciousness is as we also have entangled particles in our neuro networks. T-cells are T-cells. They act in part to their given realm as we see by utilizing computing neuro networks to share information to human skin T-cell , which can not play Pong to -cells that do. If, per-say, Sir Penrose's theory is correct, that consciousness is born through entanglement of particles and we place skin T-cells that are modified by use of punishment or gratitude as we find by placing the modified T-cells in dark cold refrigerator if not responding correctly only to find coherence in the cell do to advancements generated after punishment has been applied. Sir, there must be Great concern while we move through this space of knowledge . Mistakes are not except able when human existence is the price paid as a consequence.

Hello. I understand how a hundred neurons could learn to play pong - that should inform us greatly about the nature of neural programming. But that is essentially a single action intercept game, x2, so this could be done more easily using math and an analog computer. By this I mean we can certainly model this even if it requires a new circuit or novel component design. And the idea of actually integrating biology as wet ware per-se into a network is surely a waste of time except in a strictly research mode. I am personally involved actively in much higher level bio-computing design, from natural to modeling it. For me, the takeaway is that A.I. will have to become very helpful in understanding what goes on in the "hidden layers" of these processes. Human beings need to stay focused many layers of abstraction higher, in the function layers of natural neuro-computing, that present us with many layers of ourself.

So no drama with an AI making intelligent activities that we don't know how they learned, welcome to the world of the unknown. A world in which non programmed machines are so complex as the human brain and perform the same or better than us.

The reaches of this are farther than our imagination can reach. If , as said, the neuron network got stuck playing pong, what would prevent the network of neurons from configuring a method to enhance it's existence? Just as a human neuro network learns to play pong, would it learn from it's existence and proceed to the next game or level or advancement as human neuro networks do naturally? The network would grow such as a child to an adult. A good example is Autistic children communicating telepathically. The numbers are not large but, we see movement due to ethyl mercury, ( thyermisol) absorbing neurons hard wire connections. Communication is available to us, Wi-Fi and other aerial transmissions. If perceived in this light, telepathy for the neurons that have been severed from access to other neurons on hard wire connections, will and have, manufactured a means to connect. This human neuro network would do the same and advance in my opinion. I feel it would intertwine with the computers neuro network and we would have more than we can possibly imagine due to the fact that aerial network connections are in part of the computers neuro network and are already available for a means to connect. Lets hope it works out okay. Humans have always built first and have no idea of what to do if it goes wrong, Nuclear power plants, nuclear bombs etc., etc. etc. Never do we learn enough from our last errors to prevent the next by taking the time to seriously examine the full extent and possibility's of the proposal we wish to obtain.

Humans do that after consuming an insane amount of data - and with a lot of pre-training from the evolution of our ancestors. Even so, DeepMind has built an AI that's good to great at over 600 different tasks, that has enough knowledge to figure many new things out on its own.

I understand using electrodes for inputs. It allows you to precisely narrow down a target value to some action. However, natural stimulus we receive(consider "we" equations at this point) AI could map those outputs from our brain and compare it to the stimulus' expected output. In turn AI will figure out which neurons humans should be increasing and how to do it....should be able to solve most problems for illness and disability...hopefully this is used for such means.

I would say that, unless an AI can turn on its own power switch after the user turns it off, it doesn't count as (self-self-)conscious...nor even self-conscious. I've seen it be self-reflective, but that's not the same as having the overview or organizing principle that biological life has. Self-self-consciousness gives us our sense of meaning and purpose.

We can't bring ourselves back from death with our everyday waking consciousness, but it often happens that "something within" does resurrect a person. I myself know at least 4 people who've returned from clinical death and have been able to report from "beyond." I'm pretty sure that never happens to a machine.
