Self sufficient, innovative without damaging the earth. Rural people are content with minimum whilst city life plunders the earth indefinitely.

    I've traveled alone in that part of the world before, I'm a woman and one of the things that stood out for me all those decades ago is still the same now. You'll notice that this guy's encounters are all with MEN. You still don't see many women walking around alone, and you NEVER ever speak or interact with them if you're male unless it's a shopping experience.

    Its bittersweet to see how stations in Pakistan look so similar to some stations in India. The trains looked similar from outside to the older ones (still running) we have, the concept of Coolies (even the uniform) and the chaos. You could see how we were the same country just some decades ago.

    The lady says at the beginning there NO FIRST CLASS on this train. You weren’t on any first class carriage. She explains standard class with AC is the highest level on this train and Ben even repeats what she says . So the title is misleading and explains why standard class looks the same .

    I agree. People who snore should never sleep anywhere that is designed for multiple people. It ruins EVERYONE’S night and then most of their day because one person kept them up all night. Like think about it 20+ people couldn’t sleep because of one person making noise. People who snore that bad should either stay awake and be more considerate in the future or not sleep in places designed for multiple people. It’s just so inconsiderate.

    Kudos to you and Well done for making it through. I have family in Peshawar and in Quetta.As a child I remember travelling twice from Peshawar to Quetta with family.It was 60 hours of family fun.Golden Memories. Pakistan trains have not changed in 45 years,since my last journey.

    Am from India But i can see lot of pak people were greeting u welcoming u helping u guiding u especially those two guys are like a guardian angel guarded u but u keep on yelling abt poor facilities bad smell toilet etc etc but am damn sure in UK a tourist ll not get such sweet people even if u ask for help in ur country may be u may have luxury facilities but not the pure love they shown towards u .enjoy their county tradition. uniqueness man rather than roasting

    I just ended and 36hrs journey in Indian railways and i was complaining about getting bored on the train...but i guess i appreciate i live in India, the train i traveled from had clean and warm bedsheets and blanket, clean washroom attendent to setup the bed for you. Only people you will see in your coach are all people how have seats reserved, pick pocket are rare like i have never been a victim. You will get your privacy

    Probably your best video of all time, I didn’t want it to end. I did something similar when I traveled across Russia for the 2018 World Cup. I got a 16 hour sleeper train from Moscow central station to samara which is 3 hours from the Kazakhstan border to watch England play Sweden. Would be good to see you do that journey 👍🏻

    From my train journey through India I remember that you need to take the upper beds. Locals often want to swap because the don't like them, but they're much better. You can chain your luggage to the bunk and it's very cosy. Ground floor is not so good because people are passing by. 😀

    I've never been to Pakistan but I will say the metro in Mexico city was enough lol. Gets so packed you gotta spread ur arms out n jam urself in the door lmao cuz yunno CDMX has like 21 million people and there's like A LOT OF PPL ON THE TRAIN

    I once travelled from New Delhi to Chandigarh ~ a mere 6 hours! Train left at 06.00am and the experience of getting on to the train stepping over sleeping people in the station was surreal. So many experiences on that train - some fantastic, some really sad. Wouldn’t have missed the experience ~ so glad 👍

    My grandad was a farming machinery exec and worked in Pakistan for a while. He always said the people from Pakistan, especially in the country side, were so friendly and would give you absolutely anything.
