Excellent Q&A? Very honest and direct responses. I’m surprised no one asked about the meaning behind the logo of your channel.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I’ll get into the whole thing in a separate video I think 🙂
❤it's good step❤
This was so interesting ! Answering 45 questions wasn’t an easy task. Again, like many people said in the comments, your approach of fragrances is singular, unusual. It is really pleasing to listen to. No hype, no reading of an inaccurate, never ending list of notes and c/p from a famous website… I am looking forward to see more ! Thank you for this video :)

@@SeldomlyOften I do have 2 actually. You said you trade the fragrances that you don’t need anymore/dislike. How do you do that ? Are you using a dedicated platform ? Because I would be interested in trading too. And 2nd question, you mentioned buying fragrances on Notino. Did you have any problem with your purchases ? I heard and read a lot of mixed opinions about Notino (fake fragrances or bad storage conditions, mainly). Thank you :)

@@Medoriel For trading I generally go for community sites such as Reddit and Facebook groups or on just on second hand, Craigslist style websites. This is really tied to your country. I never had any issues with Notino, mainly just rude customer service and response times (nothing critical, they just would not honor a discount code).

I'll do sto right away!, no wonder I was getting a lot of ads for Pernoire.
Thanks for answering my question, I really appreciate you including it. And although a few of the questions seemed a bit invasive, I appreciate your honesty and letting us get to know you on a more personal level. Again, thanks!

Bravo! 45 Questions! Great candid video. Keep em coming! Squeeze in that weekly rotation video! Just pulled out my sample of Royal Tobacco I was saving for autumn. Good stuff.

I need to find a non boring way to film it. Don’t want to spend time talking about the same stuff over and over every week! I’m working on it 👍
Trooper, here! 🫡 Coincidentally, I dove into niche territory after I received Tom Ford OL as a present, and my currently favorite perfume is Royal Tobacco, which I have yet to buy a full bottle of, but I'm working on it. Thank you for making this, Daniel! A lot more things to say, but you're just one and we're quite a few, so I'm here to show some appreciation and urge you to keep doing what you do! 💪🏽😎.

Thanks so much! If you have more questions just put them down and I’ll get back to you here 😊
Thanks for answering my questions! The rotating obsessions tagline have always intrigued me because I’m the same. From things that are ultra specific like speculative doorstopper fiction or Iranian cinema to things as basic as funko pops and fragrances and everything in between. I’ve always like how your background lighting and clothes seems intentional and match to the fragrance you’re reviewing. But those shots of you at end of this video holding the royal tobacco bottle with your shirt and the bare wall was very satisfying. 😂

Yeah I tried to keep it more generic but I can go into really niche and specific stuff for days or even weeks. I live in a very small apartment so I don’t have much space to set up a proper filming set. Gotta work with what you got 🙂
Love the answers Daniel! Thank you for your candor and for tackling them all!! I'm with you on the aversion to redundancy btw. My problem is that I became too focused on the nuances. 😆200 bottles later...some...redundancy? 😂 Probably why I'm all about decants now. But just from your responses, I think you and I would get along juuuust fine. 👌 Ciao ciao!

I tend to get anxiety when I have unused stuff laying around other than be the objectiveness of my actions 😅

I answered them all, might have to do a second round down the road 😬
A real polymath I see 👌Interestingly enough, my interest also started with Ombre Leather and it's my most favorite perfume up to this point still - and I do have an obsessive personality, too - once something peaks my interest, I can't stop obsessively spending thousand of hours researching, amassing knowledge given a certain topic, ever since I've been a small kid when I e.g. was interested in ancient Egypt or in reading and taught myself to read the newspaper at age 4 😅 Do you have a Parfumo account?
@SeldomlyOften

@@joolean7799 yeah I have a touch of ‘tism, that really pushes me to always dog deeper until I hit the bottom 😉 I don’t have an account, will probably make one just to keep track of what I own. The problem is I don’t remember everything that went through my hands so I could only speak for my current collection.

@@SeldomlyOften Gotcha, it's a great platform to share perfume-related advice and I reckon it could also be a great potential source for you to expand your audience 😊 - since you like Leather, too - have you tried the likes of Fahrenheit Parfum (insanely good), Intense Cedrat Boise (amazing daily), African leather, Orchid Leather and/or Widian London?
