There's something about Ron's happiness that just contagious. That scene where he shows pictures of himself eating steak puts a big smile on my face

You can really see at the start how Leslie is literally doing a Michael Scott impression "People need our help. And it feels good to be needed". Even the intonation and facial expressions are pure Michael. Thank god they didn't stay on that path.

Yea my wife wanted to quit watching the show during season 1 but I had to convince her to keep watching, bc I knew it got good.

Wow, I didn’t even realize Andy and April got introduced in the same scene. How fitting.

Ron's smile at the end was the purest thing. He looked so legitimately happy.

The best thing with Ron is he only laughs or smiles when he absolutely, truly means it. Makes the moments when he does even better.

P&R is the greatest, most quintessentially American sitcom ever made.

I know this is a fictional tv show, but it’s so beautiful to see how all of their lives improved through connections, love and working on themselves. It makes me hopeful that life will work out for me and my loved ones. ❤

April really saw Andy scratching himself and wanted him to gather her children immediately.

Ron’s last scene, that was Nick Offerman getting emotional. Love this show so much.

Best ending to a series ever. So lovingly and thoughtfully done, for every single character. Ron's my fave though. Willie Nelson's "Buddy" playing, while he's being his true self out in the wild open nature, thanks to his own "buddy." 🥺 Miss this show!

A library!? I think Ron was the most pleased with his outcome. And he looked natural. Peace!

I recently finished the show and I forgot how different they all were in the beginning, like Donna and Jerry, and Ron used to wear suits for work! And that Andy and April's first meeting - now I saw that checking out! And how I love Ben's first appearance - it is obvious that he clearly wished he wasn't in Pawnee... How much they've all changed and grown... That's the thing I admire in a sitcom - character growth and change in a good way) Park and Recreation definitely has it!

The smile on Ron's face as he's experiencing his new job, coasting across the lake in his canoe, warms my heart

Upon a recent rewatch, I just now realized that the song that plays in Rons last scene is the same song that was used when he and Leslie mended their friendship earlier in the final season. Such a beautiful touch.

Ron had the best last scene by far, favorite moment in possibly the whole show

It is only today, after rewatching Ron's last scene, that I realise : "Hopefully not too fine as I am not looking for any new friends" His last words were to admit they were his friends I feel all fuzzy inside :3

9:52 - This scene is amazing in how many of the cast basically summarized their character in so few words in such a short time. Ensemble cast at its finest.

Even though season one was basically an office knock off it’s still worth watching in my opinion if not just to see the interaction between Leslie and how everything started. Don’t write off the first season because character evolution is the best part of the series and the characters make the show.

@@Infernos94 Sure rube, something people have known for over a decade is a "hot take."

Honestly, one of the only characters I'm invested in is Ron. And I'm glad that by the end of the show, he gained real friendships, a wife that's good to him, two stepdaughters, his own biological son and a government job that he would actually work hard for and appreciate. The simplest and happiest ending you could ask for.

You can legitimately get everything you possibly need to know about Ron out of his first scene. He’s introduced so flawlessly 😂👏

This is my favorite finale of a TV Show. I love the care the creators and actors put into these characters and their stories that it was genuinely bittersweet to say goodbye to this show.

I love how one of the last scenes in the show with Leslie talking shows her very first scene. Growth.

Donna and Tom were such an awesome duo always

Alright, that's too good that they didn't show Garrys (Jerry/Larry/Terry) first scene. Whoever made this compilation needs recognition for going above and beyond simply throwing a clipshow together.

I never watched Parks and Rec when it was active. I started watching it last year and it’s my favorite of all time. I normally start a series when it’s in re-runs.

Recalibrated the quiz Ron is now a Donna.

The producers cut of the last episode is one of my favorite tv episodes of all time.

She really is a hero of a generation.

Just realized that Leslie calls it the DMV, but in Indiana, it's the BMV

This show was so fair to its main characters. It's finales for Ron and Garry/Larry/Terry(?) were so satisfying.

I think the drunk guy from leslies first scene is the guy who wanted the swing fixed in the last seasons episode.

How could you forget Mark Brendanawicz? Oh, yeah. Everybody forgot him!

Crazy to see how Ben changed - when he was introduced (alongside Chris) I thought he'd be in and out of there in maybe one season, certainly not wind up married to and having children with Leslie

That was the happiest I've ever seen, Ron 🥹

All of them had a natural and beautiful character development from beginning to end, but I knew there was something special waiting for Ron at the end and it didn’t disappoint. I’m pretty sure we all felt his expressions organically 🥲

Absolutely awesome show - I love it.

Parks n Recreation is by far my favourite tv show. I do a binge watch at least every 2yrs (every year would be excessive)

i like how Andy started as a chubby and ended all jacked in the last season, prob because of the GOG movies, but you can tell by his shoulders how he got Jacked LOl

There are only 6 shows that should be binge watched a minimum of three times, in their entirety...Parks AR, Justified, Veep, Mad Men, The Wire and Always Sunny In Philly...

After 1 week, i finally finished the series.. Finished at 11/24/23 Man, what a show! Now i have that empty feeling again. I watched it for April and Andy and stayed for them and cried for everyone 😢.

I find it oddly fitting that the people who made this forgot Jerry's first scene, and only included his last. Still getting disrespected, even outside of the show.

Always surprised me to find out that after all of this time, Ron Swanson doesn't know the most basic thing about paddling a canoe. The J stroke. I was shattered then, and don't want to be reminded.
