Hi Emelia as a Ferrari apprentice There is a way to get your full instrument cluster once Apple car play is connected When you are on the apple car play screen there is a symbol that says Ferrari click it and you go back to your rpm, speedometer and normal instrument display

I reviewed the 296GTB w/AF Pkg (the one pictured in my pic)...immediately I mentioned that it felt as fast as a 765LT without the turbo lag, and that it will do 9s and in the high 140s. Good to know my butt dyno's pretty well calibrated. Fantastic video.

that 296 is running more consistent and almost better times than the sf90. Outside of the SF90, it destroys all the other ferrari's. That time beats the 911 turbo s in the quarter, a stock 720s , any of the lambo's. Pretty crazy.

Still say my favorite thing about your channel is how happy you look talking about and working on cars. That energy def goes into the guys too and it makes it fun to watch.

The 296GTB is just an amazing all around car. Fast in the 1/4 mile, fast at high speed and on track one of the fastest cars stock.

@Smzxe the 296GTB is running track times with the SF90 Stradale, which has consistently been faster than the 765LT. So it is dam fast and the 720S took 6 months of running to get that time not the first one. This is the first time it's been on the strip and already posted that time.

@Smzxe the 765LT is the special model and should be faster. The VS version of the 296 will crush. However my money is on the 296GTB once people get some experience launching the car. There is a skill curve and tricks to launch faster.

That race with the suburu was awesome. Watching in the driver mirror as the front wheels lifted and it blew passed the Ferrari was a great.

Only found your chanel recently - love the 296, personally I think it's probably the best of the current ferraris (although the 812 is always going to be special as the last V12 :-)!). XJR's are great cars awesome bhp/tonne for road cars at the time. (Project 8 is one of my favourite road cars ever)!

Things I wanna see while you still have the 296. A lap around the freedom factory vs a plaid

So, Demon 170, prepped track, drag radials, E85, trans brake , gutted interior, carbon wheels.... and probably the best conditions with a trained driver... runs a 8.91... imagine how much prep needed to be put into the 296gtb into the 8s....

The demon 170 will never run 8.9 in real world conditions, even with drag radials or magic fuel, the number is calculated with a ai, with absolute conditions, that will never occur in the real world

Quite a bit. If it gets too low, you can't even put the car in qualifying mode.

296 GTB it’s not made for drag racing it’s a car made for entirely a different purpose, all 296 needs is exhaust and sticky tires like CUP 2RS and go around a track with sharp turns. THATS WHERE 296 shines. Nice car

Wow that's some impressive numbers

If you want, a dump valve noise, too, keep going off??? Even at traffic lights??? I'll suggest moving over to the diesel engine??? &fitting an electronic dump valve, I did 20 years ago now, I also had it tuned. The Derv doctor knows how, but he's in Yorkshire UK. I miss the torque from the diesel engine. Well, it's from the small turbo.

First, yes let's see you race the McLaren. Second the Ferrari is slick, the Subaru is a beast, but my favorite is the G-ride Jaguar. I got my Grandfathers 88 Lincoln Town car as my G-ride, not as nice as the Jag or fast like the Ferrari but I love driving that land yacht.
