That's blowback that you're thinking of. Recoil is the force that a round makes when fired. Blowback makes the bolt move.

After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzread.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

*_Seeing Silo fire all these guns again brought back mad nostalgia from when I used to watch back in the day. Still have all the OG guns!_* Which is crazy because it means they are crazy reliable 😆

6:20 On the PSO scope that eyecup is meant for you to put your eye directly on that. Otherwise its pretty crappy when you're just using the scope normally.

Heya Silo, just wanted to thank you for making me fall in love with airsoft: in 2019 i started to focus on it but quarantine started a few months later. I had to wait a year before starting but now that i'm in, it's my stress relief valve: every single game is relaxing like a very few things are, and i even get to take my equipment and gear to school for pictures (it's a graphic school, we take lot's of pictures) and my teacher love it, to the point of asking me to let them wear the military jackets. I am part of a beautiful group, i have some friends in it and even classmates who are interested in joining. Also i'm now planning on buying soon the G&G MG42, and i'm already saving for it, since it's an important 1690 euros, but oh well, everything for a 42. Softair is the best sport ever , thanks for everything Silo

Not directly related to Simo. But when the russian tank armor got better and Finland's anti tank rifles were obsolete, they started to use them for counter sniping using exactly the glint of a scope to spot enemy snipers. I can't even guess how scary it would be to be that enemy sniper.

@@DissedRedEngie The Lahti l39. Man, what a gun. Almost every major nation had an anti-tank rifle of their own in time for WWII, but that 50 kg monster made them all look tame in comparison. "This 20mm round is too strong to be shouldered. What do we do?" "Make it *I M M O V A B L E* ...Oh, and put it on skis." It was multi-purpose too, being intended to use the same ammunition as anti-air guns for compatibility, and had three ammunition types if I recall. AP, HE and Phosphorous. So, as icing on the cake: if you were a sniper having this thing pointed at you, chances are that the round heading your way would *not* be armor-piercing, but instead a 20mm High Explosive shell. Forget accuracy: shooting something like that at a person, I don't think you even have to hit the mark.

I was into airsoft as a kid and now as an adult i’m huge into actual firearm collecting, your collection is real neat and I can see it brings you a lot of fun. It just makes me a little sad, as an avid gun collector, that a genuine piece of history was destroyed in that pursuit. I own a few Kar 98K’s from WW2 and they have become harder and harder to find.

8:03 that’s an akm. Not an ak47. You can tell by the curved shape of the hand guards and the rod underneath the barrel. Essentially the akm is the Soviet unions attempt at creating a modernized battle rifle (before the ak74) so yeah there is a differenc, and the one you have is an akm
