Quick Update: They Bumped Runeshards Cost for Pit to 3. Two Full Helltides give about 150-200 Runeshards, so you might need to play Helltides for like 2 hours in WT4.

Wow this build is amazing. I hit level 58 after using chain lightening and really enjoyed that build, but it started to feel very weak. I tried 4 different builds before getting here and this one takes the cake by far. Love it, thanks for sharing and making the thorough guide.

I've been watching a bunch of videos since i just picked this game up for the first time a few days ago, and was wondering why nobody was mentioning the life-on-hit stat since to me it had been super OP. With incinerate at first, then adding in hydra and flame wall, I never need to even use potions as long as I make sure to keep life on hit on my gear

this build should title "semi-immortal" leveling build, with >20% Doge chance + Sage Aspect, Life per hit / Life per second, + Warmth. the char lvl 5x can solo fight with Maiden Wt4 + mindcage

good job, but just some added info. You can do nmd 41 that 95 level mobs to get 925 gear early on, so pit1 isnt required for that purpose anymore, so its a bit easier or lets say 5 level easier.

In the original live stream you switched to a blizzard frozen orb hydra build since you didn’t have fractured winterglass is that blizzard build better for later game or just stick with this firewall build until i get the unique amulet for frozen orb?

You have a comment saying "Keep Pit Monster Level at a maximum of 10 above your Character Level." but pit level 1 has level 100 monsters and you start doing that at level 60. I assume that's a typo of some kind and you just run the pit at a level where you can finish it in 5 minutes or less. I also assume you need to run a bunch of 100 nightmares to get glyph experience up at some point. I'll look for the blizzard guide -- thanks for posting such a detailed guide.

It's more like regarding on level 90+ to update the pit levels. It's likely irrelevant because you will start advancing way earlier. Yeah you will need to level the glyphs at some point. But it's going to be much faster if you do it on Level 100 with the seasonal Glyph XP Buff already unlocked from season journey.

@@martinjaehrling blizzard is good starter for farming. Endgame really depends. So far there seems to be no real good endgame pusher build for sorc, so it really depends on your definition of endgame ;)

in your written guide you mention life on hit a couple of times and I assumed this was part of the new tempering options. Looks like there is 5% lucky hit chance to recover life. Is this what you were referring to, or has it changed from the PTR? Or are we just looking for any items which have LoH as a drop?

no it works like that. In Leveling phase you take damage all the time, that's why it works very good in that phase

Don’t you need runeshards to run the pit? Also wouldn’t you need to do several nmds to get sigil dust to craft a nmd 45? Just clarifying as I didn’t play ptr.

You get sigil dust from various sources like event quests etc. Usually you should have enough already. If you dont have enough, you probably have to run one nightmare dungeon, then salvage the sigils and craft a t50

no you will get equal level keys from whisper caches. you might have to play 2 dungeons and salvage/craft a sigil

Edited* had a helluva time finding “life on hit” items until farming blood maiden in helltide.

Seems like no more 925 Weapon drop from Helltide Boss.

I just found ahavarion in helltide, is it worth using for this build? I feel like uber uniques are obsolete now because you cant temper them?

yeah uniques in general are pretty much dead for sorc. Everything but Esus, Shako and Winterglass is pretty much trash at this point. Even Tal Rasha is not worth playing

you should find plenty of those in helltide chests, but not sure how many. Might need to squeeze in a helltide after a few hours

I’m low 60s about ready for pit I think. So is it recommended to get level 100 before upgrading glyphs in nightmare dungeons? I’m out of the loop.

I would recommend it. It will be much faster doing it later when you can just zoom through NM Dungeons like a braindead zombie. On Level 60 those are quite annoying while the pit is pretty chill

The aspect that fires 3 beams might be cool if it can shotgun. But incinerate was really hard to scale when I tried it. Like super underwhelming.

Great vid but what am I missing? Went to level 45 ancestral nightmare dungeon to unlock pit and everything insta-nukes. Video says lvl 45 won’t be a problem. Enemies are level 96!

What about chain lightning for leveling instead of firewall as I am playing with a controller and I think that's not ideal.
