Norfolk Southern was proud to support the Fire Truck Festival at the North Carolina Transportation Museum last week in Spencer, NC. Over 4,000 people attended this annual event that honors first responders and celebrates our rich railroad history in the state.
We’re grateful for our partnerships with first responders throughout our network. Our Operation Awareness & Response program provides safety training to more than 5,000 first responders across our 22-state network annually.
They receive classroom instruction on the #NSsafetytrain before heading onto specially outfitted railcars for hands-on training from our experts. This was another opportunity to thank them for all they do to keep our communities safe.
