I made two pairs of these slippers, and the individuals love them. Sizes extra large (female) and large (female). I'm preparing to make two more pairs in a large size. So far, I've been told that the slippers are very comfortable and warm. Thank you.

I bought the pattern and for the 3rd row for the Medium Women size the pattern reads after the next 8 sts, 2 sc in each of the next 6 sts it should be 8 sts right otherwise it doesn't add up to 42 sts????

I have the same problem. I wish someone could help to explain. I have 40 sts after round 3 and it gets way to big after I sc the two soles together.

I've got the same problem, when I do exactly what the pattern says on her website, it's an odd shape and looks like it's lacking stitches. I think this pattern is off. I've worked it 4 times and it's the same. I'm using the same yarn and needle, my stitches per 4" are 6.6 like it says on lion's site. I'm going to play with this and add stitches as needed and see how it works up.

@@MorainStaria I've been to her website, a lot of her other patterns are also written hard to understand, just wonder who edits? lol I gave up on mine, they were to be xmass presents...still looking for another house shoe/mocc pattern I can use all this wool yarn I bought to make 6prs .

A tip to anyone making this, don't listen to the counts, they are incorrect. Just make the stitches she tells you to make. Except for the back loop only, she means front loop only.

Hello ..so for a medium size..how many chains?

Love this design!! Do you know if anything that could be added to the bottoms to create a non-slip slipper? Wondered if there was something that could be sprayed or applied to the yarn once it is worked up. I feel like I’ve seen something but can’t recall now.

You could use a product called “sock stop” or a puff glue or even hot glue gun :)

Has anyone had actual success with the bigger sizes in this pattern? For some reason, I cannot make an actual xl to save my life. I followed the pattern exact. Stitch counts were exact. Even used the same yarn. And my xl looks like a small. It fits my foot. Which, wouldn’t be an issue if they were for me 😅

My stitch count is different than the patterns after row 3. I can't figure out if it is me or the pattern? Would I just stop now and find a different pattern?

I forgot to mention that the pattern was easy enough to follow.
