How would you make this slipper a little smaller. I find it a little too wide. Would doing 6 DC to start instead of 8 help? And then after that you would have 12 DC after that instead of 16.

Round 3 has 24 stitches not 30. Do we need to do another round of 1DC, 1DC, 2DC?? That would be 30

I just kept adding stitches tell I had 30, I finished my slippers and they turned out good even for the rough start 😂

She said to just keep crocheting the spiral until your total number of stitches is 30. Don't think of it in terms of rounds, just stop when you have increased enough to get 30 stitches.

Perhaps you forgot to skip the first 2 stitches as you attached each row of the cuff?

Any reason not to make the cuff taller?

How you get 16 to 30 it would be 24

I got confused here also and came to comments looking for the answer. I believe that she just keeps working around the spiral until there is 30 unused stitches - after you reach 24, you continue working into into the start of the last “row”. For example: I continued doing two single crochets into what I counted as stitch 1, one single crochet into the following etc. until I reached 30 unused stitches. Once you reach the stitch that you had originally counted as 12, you will be at 30. Sorry if this is confusing.

At 4:50 she mentions that you go to another row with the same stitch until you get 30.

In the next round.. to get to 30… do 1DC, 1DC, 2DC in following stitch and repeat. That will be 30. It seems like there’s a row missing. So it’s actually 4 rows

2-1 until u get to 30 than stop the increase and go one in each stitch. It’s a beautiful slipper
