Beautiful song! I was waiting to hear English vocals for a long time even if I understood the original Russian vocals and felt the awesome melancholy of the song. Masterpiece for a great series of games!

@@stalker-235 Forgive my spikes but was his mindset to rest? It’s not a saying for the living nor for cowards. It’s expressly for the departed hero, to honor his mindset to strive, and come home. Late 1800’s there’s a war and a massacre named after my grandpa, (Horrell war) He lays there slumped in the corner lynched in a jail cell by the law. Shot over 20’times. My grandma dragged him home and buried him while she was 8 months pregnant. Tada here I am My family honors him by chanting “long live Thomas Horrell” theirs other names and chants too but I’m paraphrasing greatly.

А я думаю только благодаря Сталкеру эта песня получила огласку и группу FireLake находящуюся в полнейшим андеграунде заметили и начали слушать. Жалко, что на сегодняшний день про эту песню и про эту группу снова все забыли(

кому тоже английская версия нравиться больше русской? даже если её не понимает (не понимает английскую)

почитай комменты под видео - все англоязычные слушатели наконец поняли про что поется в русскоязычной песне, потому что оригинальный перевод от авторов не то же самое что гугл транслейт)

Всё-таки английская версия вторична, да и "Сталкер" - тема "постсоветская", там инглиш чужероден. Вот на украинском было бы интересно послушать, может быть, когда кончится война, кто-нибудь запишет кавер.

На мой взгяд переведённые песни всегда хуже чем на изначальном языке. На русском это лучше, а вот русский и украинский кавер уже Dirge for planet хуже английского
