Just a reminder: In honkai impact we have dead Himeko and still getting her banner. And also, we have dead fox women from Lofu, that still a thing as a playable character, so idk, her banner doesnt mean we might get her back. Honkai not so childish like Genshin, we actually can lost the character during the adventure. Ofc, i hope that Firefly will be revived, but, i think she wont get back(

Firefly is (as far as I know) the only character in Star Rail that doesn't foist some work onto you. Not only that, she gives you a tour, buys you food while willing to use what's left of her savings, brings you to the gacha machine, and even introduces you to her favourite spot in the dreamscape. Overall, the character that has been the nicest to TB so far.

@@celine_aeterna Canonically, maybe. But Kafka hasn't really done anything for us in-game. It's a case of show don't tell. She's awoken you in the middle of a space station in crisis and left you there to be adopted She pressured you to go and deal with the Luofu's crisis She called you for help and tricked you into beating up hard-working guardsmen and a bratty child So far, she hasn't really done anything for you except waking you up

@@cyansuy3062 To be fair, and this is my personal theory, MC was obviously an Stellaron Hunter because of Blade dialogue after finishing Kafka Story questline. We are definitelly something with kafka but got our memories erased so we will not fuck things up in reuniting allies for the final clash with the Aeon of destruction. we know MC is literally created from 4 of 5 stellaron hunters DNA ( the truth and lie game.) and Kafka trained the MC to be the badass that is now. Knowing all of this i personally believe MC is kinda more like a children for the Stellaron hunters that got his/her memories erased and forbidden to get associated with then so Eliot Script can work. Yet for sure we are going to have a family reunion later.

Never stopped to say this before, but shoutout to Black Swan and Acheron for just *being* there for the Trailblazer. Took this video for me to realize having them there to console Stelle/Caelus in that moment, having Acheron ground you and tell you to breathe and calm down was such a human moment. Thanks you two.

Not a HSR player, but by mentioning Firefly makes me remember of that song from Owl City, cuz 1. The song's about living in a dream feels too beautiful to wake up in reality, plus it's been 14 years. 2. One of the song's lyrics was "Cuz I saved a few [fireflies] and kept them in a jar". also, Owl City wrote a song for Neural Cloud.

I don't play HSR. But I watched thousands of anime and I can quickly tell if a story is good or not even just from portion of the story. I indeed cried even without playing the actual game I can tell that she is a sweetheart even just from this video. Her design is also very cute. I've seen similar stories countless of times and it breaks my heart every time.

It's crazy how this was literally how I played the game after, revisiting the spots like a lost puppy

I just tear up, it's just heartbreaking to see Stelle coping for Firefly.

Even if mommy like Acheron and Black Swan trying to help, losing a friend that you're very fond of, is actually very hurtful, worse of all that you seen it in front of you and you can't do anything to protect them So yeah, it's actually a wound that's hard to heal

that music just captures that sense of emptyness when you had someone dear to you suddenly gone and you can only keep moving through phases until it finally heals enough for you to get back to your life

Back then Acheron asked me, "Will you stay in the dream if the bonds you forged won't disappear?" Back then I confidently said no because it was just dream. But now? I'll gladly do so. As long as I can walking with you again under this sky..... Even though the dream fated to end. At least, I'll be able to say goodbye properly.

when the "positive and wholesome story" shoots your heart more times than imaginable this is a very nice video hopefully we don't have to keep dreaming for her to return

The pain and anger of losing firefly was so traumatic that I actually have been feeling empty and broken ever since I played the quest. I cared for her, because of her kindness, her happiness, and her dream. She held back some of her secrets, and that’s ok, everyone has those, I am just furious I couldn’t help her find purpose and happiness in spite of her illness, before she was cruelly taken away, before she could become comfortable in fully sharing with us, before I got to understand her and build more memories together. I guess this is almost how it feels to lose a significant person in real life, because it hurts so much.

i know this feeling to well, my first time being like that was at the end of clannad... or the first time i played final fantasy 7 with Aerith...

Firefly although is not a saint, was so noble and cute with us, that's why her way to be "dead" was kind of disturbing, and She is not really dead but in her reality is too sick to get a normal life, she explains that in the dream before taking the selfie with you, is so emotional.

Man how they wrote firefly was phenomenal. It was really short but people are stuck by it. They let us have the gist of her story but not the whole thing, just enough to keep us invested. And now I'm betting that character banner will be something else

The moment i see "something onto death" is the moment it will wish it never existed.

I have never even played this game and know next to nothing about it but this video brings me to tears every single time I watch it. I love your animations and the way you bring out so much emotions even in your funny ones.

It may seems funny about stelle's face design & expression, but it hurts me so much to see someone crying and laughing at the same time. Damn

If Firefly reappears as a playable character, I will definitely take her back at any cost, because I don't want to lose her again

Trailblazer has two choices: Otto route - find a way to revive Firefly even if it means sacrificng everything Ferryman route - even if it means doing it again a million times, find a way to save her

Her body is, but I don't know about the soul, from Sunday's interaction with sparkle he says that it brings *Spiritual Death*, so effectively they'd be brain dead if nothing is done or so I think. Which hurts even more.

Only time can tell so we must wait for the next chapter.

Sam isn't her tho. There's no way they wouldn't use the feelings they crushed of their players by risking people skipping him for the actual Firefly. I know Sam is rumoured to be her but I don't think it's the case. I think Hoyoverse wouldn't risk not profitting so they would give us her actual banner where it's guaranteed the players would pull on

dang.... seeing stelle walking around golden hour while holding the jar, and try to play the slot and gacha machine again really hurt to watch, as if she was trying to cheer herself by relieving the memories again, even more when her ice cream drop. And then you felt hurt again when actually doing it in game, go to the rooftop and seeing the picture again (its quite rare to see stelle smile in game especially in picture) Thank you for this, and yes I still believe stelle will meet firefly again someday, especially since the mascot in this place is a clock which could imply that....
