I love how the rainbow in the water makes it look like you're pushing back the fire with the power of friendship

I’m still not convinced that this man isn’t just Jason with a fake mustache and a very realistic looking hairpiece.

I can’t stop imagining someone driving by the station and seeing a small band of firefighters experimenting with a flamethrower.

So, are you guys now selling those flamethrowers to us Firefighters for, um, training purposes & research?

This is the kind of realistic testing of common everyday problems we need more of.

You can see just how much power is in that hose with how the firefighter has to lean into it and anchor his feet.

Scientifically speaking, as a scientist, I can confirm that this is some of the coolest coprolite, (or insert replacement word for shit of your choice) , on the interwebs. And big props to the camera work and editing!

Just going to geek out for a second on that 60gpm take. Note how the flame was "extinguished" while inside the fog, but then emerged on the teddy bear Jason. This is showing us that the fog was successfully removing oxygen from the situation at 60gpm, but not meeting the btus to get the fuel below its flashpoint before it could exit the fog.

When the two guys were fighting with the flamethrower and the hose I initially thought 'this is kind of dangerous.' Then I remembered...

What a ridiculous test! Everybody knows that if you want to beat someone with a flamethrower, all you need is a partner that is flapping his arm like a duck while wearing nothing else than boxer shorts with little hearts on them so the guy with the flamethrower get distracted enough so the other guy can shoot the fuel tank...
