Very nice. I'm in the process of re-fretting a Pango neck with jumbo stainless steel frets. The original frets pull out very easily with no chipping.

I bought the same kit, a friend of mine wired it for me, he set it up where I have a master tone and individual volume for each pickup, because of the wiring being for a two pickup guitar

Nice guitar! And a very nice build! Anyway. If I would buy THIS kit, I would make the pocket of the bridge P.U. larger, in the direction of the bridge. So I would be able to get the bridge P.U. closer to the bridge (for more bite). This also requires a custom P.U. ring, to make it look good/finished.

Awesome video David! You have great luthier skills my friend! I don't have experience with the P90's, but they look great on that guitar I'm pretty sure when you would burn you'r wife's fingers you would probably have to sleep on the couch for at least a month, hahaha I decided to upgrade my vintage Ibanez Lawsuit Custom Les Paul from 1976 with a set of new Seymour Duncan alnico II pickups. There is a great luthier living in my neighbourhood who will do the replacement next week. Have a great weekend Bert

Thanks Bert! Just trying to learn as I go really 😀 I’m waiting to track those p90s. Taken some time to redo my studio… yeah luckily I’m not that clumsy 🤣. A 1976 Ibanez ? Nice! I haven’t seen it on your videos. Nothing like the SDs to breathe new life into those older guitars although some of the vintage pickups are fantastic themselves. Make sure you check what pups you have on the 76. Those Maxons are sought after! Have a great weekend too!

Nah, without my studio rig it’s too hard to pull off a good audio video demo. So I’d rather wait and do the guitar justice. Being too picky I know lol

No body cavity shielding especially for P-90 pickups seems counter-intuitive.

Good point. I normally don’t shield my guitars anymore as I find them pretty quiet. Also I play pretty soft so haven’t had issues. But will keep a ear out and see if it can’t handle my EVH 5150 when I occasionally turn on that beast :)
