Live action surely?

I have the series on DVD. Awesome show. I tried to reach singer Don Spencer, but to no avail.

I remember dancing to this at the Saturday Sock Hop Dance for the local TV station. What a great time to grow up in America the 50's & 60's were.

Gone ....never to return ....travelled into space ...to some other galaxy maybe . And taken the best part of my life with it ....my childhood .

Takes me right back to my childhood.

Classic 60's kids tv show It really let you use your imagination .Inspiration way before CGI Huge hit in the USA!!! This was one of the best sat morning kids shows.

This was when T.V. had great kids shows! which helped shape character and imagination! Which CGI does not do.

So true, we've had a lucky escape!

Now I'm not happy. When I was a kid Santa asked me what I wanted. I said " A Fireball XL5 " I didn't get it and by the look of this video you could get them. Hey Santa I still want one.

I wanted a Robert The Robot. My sister hated his scratchy voice. I recorded it and played it back to annoy her! 🤭

I feel for you Chuck. I did have one of the pictured Fireball XL5 toys and it was one of my most cherished and played with toys. I probably played with it until it fell apart even though I took very good care of all my toys. The good news is you can purchase one of these on eBay for about $20,000. Probably better to buy a model kit though as they are less than $200 and are much more accurate in detail.

I was top kid in first grade in 1966. I had a FIREBALL XL5 lunchbox, complete with thermos!

The wonderful Don Spencer. Who we loved from his appearances on BBCs Playschool. I never made the connection at the time.

Don was the Aussie from Play School in the 60's..

I loved fireball XL5 and ( Sting Ray Anything could happen in the next half hour i love the end music Aqua Maria and then 5,4,3,2,1 Thunder Birds are go I loved the shows❤️❤️❤️
