Wait I just realized something... So this means that the Dreaded Wizard and XP are the same person, and XP gave Runesmith the Reflect spell before the Wizard showed up. Does this mean that XP KNOWINGLY provided the only weapon that could destroy the Wizard to the DM, hoping he'd realize how he could end this and thus put down the Wizard and release XP from the agony of being the Wizard without control?

So are we all just going to ignore that Jacob and BigDickWizard6969 are not two separate entities as some have claimed but are instead two beings trapped within the same body, fighting each other for dominance over who will stand and who will be fireballed. DnD 2e and 3e, as well as Pathfinder 1e, have a similar spell - Spel Turning. 7th lvl, gives you a barrier that basically throws back any single target non-melee spells (so can't reflect Fireball, but can throwback Power Word: Death), can deflect up to 10lvl of spells also has some funky events if both casters spellturn. You can easily copy-paste the spell and its effects into your homebrew.

If you can't handle palabro as the literal god of the world then you're not a good dm. To counter them use multiple weaker enemies instead of one strong one. Or just don't give them as many long rests, that way they can't just nova every fight. The Paladins are not the problem, you as a dm are. Also the radient immunity would be too much, as it would make half the party feel useless.

In addition, you can take the feat multiple times for different damage types each time. Sadly, it does not remove immunities. That would likely require a wish, much like how killing the tarrasque used to require wishing away its regeneration.

Fun fact: You regain reactions at the beginning of your turn. Reflect could've been counterspelled.

I have a feeling the actual campaign session has been this and the entire time the ending would be a boss fight with the Wizard. The D&D games they were playing were them playing their characters playing D&D. But this is not how it ends...no there are more spell slots for this plot.

How many times could a spell be reflected with those rules? Imagine 2 wizards playing ping pong with a fireball until one runs out of spell slots

But according the the video the reflect spell cost a reaction and a player only has 1 reaction per round. So if there where 2 wizards ping-ponging a fireball it would work like counterspell and the one who cast the fireball would win. (unless a PC or NPC interfered)
