Fire Restrictions Expand Across Ontario as Wildfire Danger Grows
Wildfires continue to burn across Canada and as of midnight June 1, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has implemented a fire ban inclusive of areas like Kenora, Fort Frances, and Red Lake in Ontario. Most recently the town of Hornepayne, about 190 km north of Wawa, is preparing for an emergency situation as a wildfire inches closer. The Weather Network's Marta Czurylowicz has more.
