I love Kenny Omega but if you swap all Kenny's enziguris and snap dragon suplexes in that match for V-Triggers, you'd have a more accurate Omega match. 😂

Yeah, even when the ai face each other it will still be epic. I just got this game not too long ago still getting accustomed to it but I enjoyed it so far.

Don't even bother watching it. Naito wins his match, double DQ via Tama, Naito slips through into the finals. You and your kid will be massively disappointed. Do you really think Gedo would let a match like this happen so fast without something happening? Why would he say "trust me, I have to do this" to Kenny after he confronted him about making this match-up so early?

A lot of comments on this video are laughable. Every year when WWE 2k is released, you all cry out for a retro feeling video game that's more about fun instead of realism and simulation. Fire Pro Wrestling World gives you EXACTLY THAT, and now it's "Oh, the graphics suck! The gameplay looks horrible!", etc. Good God, a lot of you need to a pick a lane. Seriously.

Great video 101! Happy to see you play fire pro.Nothing wrong with showing more wrestling games. Can't wait to see some Top 10 lists for this game.

Knowing the match rating is one of the best parts of watching a simulated match. It’s like waiting to see how many stars Dave meltzer gives a match. Try putting it in the description if you think showing that screen takes away from the video. 👍🏽

Some people love to talk about graphics, let me provide a little perspective here. Granted, this is just my opinion, to me Tecmo Bowl was far and away the most enjoyable sports sim I've ever played. Does it compare to Madden in terms of graphics, mechanics, what have you? No, it doesnt. But some of us get so caught up with how good or realistic a game looks that we forget about the fun factor. That's why this game excites me, it has a throwback, arcade look and feel to it. I preordered it this morning at Best Buy, definitely looking forward to Friday!!!

This match was very well put together. Did you play as Omega, Ibushi, or did you just let the computer duke it out? Either way, this match felt so genuine. The heat was AMAZING! No one felt overpowered or bullied. The match and its action scaled naturally, thus making it more exciting for the audience. Well done! Cant wait for this game

The 101 I would suggest turning the CPU level to 9-10 for simulations and the speed to 125. That's optimal fire pro right there

101 you should do a 5 things you might not know about FIRE PRO WRESTLING WORLD series just like you do for the WWE2K games. I would love to see that.

I just bought this game. Wow, that match alone blows the last several WWE games completely out of the water. Good purchase for sure!

Thanks man! Yeah it got in on the Japanese PSN. You'll need to buy some of that currency off ebay/amazon or something, but the account itself is easy to make and not region locked or anything.

Orion Assante the games still play nothing a like. No mercy though a great system was very limited and very basic. The basic grapple system is far more complex not including all the other moving parts.

Those voices are in game and you can customize with which moves they actually say them for example you can have Kenny shout Golden shower whenever he does a 450 splash.

You still have a slight chance of successfully executing a finisher to a full health opponent. It’s a surprise mechanism of the game. This game is very realistic and customizable. You can create a wrestler and their behavior thanks to CPU Logic. I have a few strikers who KO everyone in a battle royal match. The simulation is also a sight to see. Characters have their own styles and behaviors. Some are funny and some are cruel. You need some time to learn the game.

Wwe 2k graphics + fire pro gameplay = best wrestling game ever

the best part is you can't go for the big moves at the beginning. you need to build your way through. feels like a real wrestling yet not boring idk why(basically what 2k attempted and failed miserably)

suburbs777 I don't find a "no sell" as a flaw per say unless it keeps happening during the match.

I’m enjoying this game thus far, but the gameplay and hit detection frustrate me. Strikes are difficult to land because of the viewpoint and movement angles (especially with weapons), grapple moves require perfect timing and are countered at random, half the time I can’t tag in my tag team partner despite standing right next to him, etc. The menus are also kind of unintuitive and clunky to navigate through. I just wish it had a more pick-up-and-play arcade feel to match its aesthetic, as opposed to the precision timing and steep learning curve it actually entails.

So how you liking it so far 101 ?????

Overall its been enjoyable man. Obviously its in Japanese which has been awkward to work with the menus etc. But i've been enjoying watching and attempting to play some matches as i'm slowly getting the hang of it. Having a look through the roster and move-sets has been fun too. The game has some ace moves!

Anyone who knocks this game for the graphics clearly doesn't understand how in-depth the AI and balancing is in this game. The simulations in this game are incredible. I have been playing this game religiously since it was released on steam earlier this year and the fact that you can set each wrestlers tendiecies and habits is just incredible. This game may not have the graphics and controls of the 2k series, however id take this game any day because I am a fan of simulating dream matches or just random matches in general. And when you simulate matches in any 2k game, they are just wonky... Its hard to have a Good simmed match in 2k...

The hilarious thing is that under the hood, Fire Pro is way more of a sim styled wrestling game than the 2K series. The 2k games look realistic, but under the hood it's a hamster on a wheel by comparison to Fire Pro.

To escape from pins tap or hold the medium attack button. To escape submissions tap left and right on the D-pad. Fire Pro is very anti-button mashing. If you button mash all your buttons the game actually penalizes you.
