Once again NHL head off shows favoratism to the Oilers.... for the 2nd time+ this series. People are showing that under shoulder pic but that is a bad angle where the other shoulder is above his head.... and they are drawing straight lines in hilariously bad angular math. If you put your arm straight forward (like Drai), you will notice your hand is already equal in height to your shoulder. Then his stick shaft is tilted up, THEN the stick blade is upwards and the puck hits the very top...above eye level... ERGO above shoulder level! He is looking UP at the puck not down, his head position is looking UP.

In fairness it seems like Vancouver has been outplayed every game this series even the ones they won. Every game Edmonton has: -more SOG -more offensive zone time -more puck possession Edmonton lacks goaltending if Edmonton had a competent goaltender this series would likely be 3-1 or over.

Canucks almost won this which would’ve been funny, but they seriously can’t let that final goal happen… brutal turnover by Hronek and nobody makes a real effort to block the shot, which basically leads to you screening your own goalie. Also Juulsen needs to learn when to lay the body. Not having Soucy in the lineup definitely hurt. Edmonton still has a goaltending problem. Canucks just need to get more shots on net.

Because Drai had his arm straight out (so his hand is literally at shoulder level), then his stick shaft is tilted up, and the stick blade is also upwards and the puck hits the very top of the blade.... at eye level. Literally physically impossible for him to hit it below head level with his arm out like that. Yes lots of people crying about camera angles but those are shown at bad angles. 2nd proof: where is Drai's head looking at the time the puck touches the tip of his blade... is it looking down at shoulder level, or straight/up.... as in, at eye level or above..... in every frame his face is basically straight forward/up. in baseball a batter will lower his head to keep his eye on the baseball anytime there's a sinker/knuckleball.... did Drais head move down at any time?? Nope. Is Drai a Jedi and can hit things he ain't lookin at?? Nope. Again the prob isn't the ball call but that the league should have automatically reviewed the play, but they didn't. Forget those two. Pettersen has been an empty suit and should be stripped of his "A", he's shown no leadership skills, let alone any will to get into the fight. They should give the "A" to Garland or Brock. They should have waited on his contract until after the post season. I'd have preferred paying less money for another Miller or Lindholm, and keeping Lindholm, Big Z and Joshua. EP40 just is not built for the playoffs.

Dude they choked , first of all Edmonton came out the way they did against the kings , I’m a kings fan , I know , Edmonton was hungrier , forget about who’s better or worse , the oilers where hungrier so they where better , Vancouver did not have that hunger to go test Picard , they where exhausted chasing the game , and two random goals ? In the last minute of the 2nd and 3rd , Vancouver didn’t play 60 ! Zero killer instinct! Was an opportunity to go up 3-1 in the series , blown ….gone…..your upset because your not feeling it anymore deep down inside , and kings did the same thing two years in a row , had opportunity to go up in the series 3-1 ….nope 2-2 ….. and ultimately eliminated. You should be most upset with th3 way they lost , not being as hungry! Edmonton will play at this level the rest of the way …will vancouver match it ? Can they match it ? Why didn5 they in the swing game .

Yeah I've seen so many Van fans call Mcdavid and Draisaitl whiny or dirty. But the truth is they're just showing emotion. That's what teams should want from their stars. Vans stars are doing the same thing Leafs stars do. They play like it's game 40 of the regular season. They're lucky Skinner cracked under the pressure and their rookie goalie is thriving. That's the only reason this series isn't over.

sportsnet replay timestamp 1:08.... it clearly is a high stick at head level.... drai has his arms straight forward, stick is tilted up, and puck hits the very top..... 100% head level

@@pyrowarhorse9738 it is quite literally physically impossible....because when you stretch your arm out straight forward, your hand is literally at shoulder level... THEN his stick was also tilted up at the moment the puck his the TIP of his blade and the tip was tilted up..... it is 10000% at eye level. My only complaint is that NHL head office didn't even bother to review it, when it should be automatically reviewed as per the rule book.

Lol, I'll give this too you. You guys have good 3rd and 4th lines. But unfortunately, Pettersson is showing the same problem Marner has in the playoffs. Seems to not have that playoff style. Which is gunna be the downfall of the Canucks.
