Arval was a blank canvas, so he was easy to be manipulated. Sad, but we know that Arval isn’t COMPLETELY at fault.

i loved how arval controlled shez. i was hoping for something like that to happen through out the hole game because it is hinted a lot of the time in many conversations with allies and i was still shocked when it happened.

I like how while Shez refuses againt Arval to kill Byleth, Byleth runs off, but when Byleth refuses to kill Shez against Sothis, Shez kills them.

Well we found out in fe engage is that spoilers Is that lord sombron tried to summon the emblem of foundation which most likely his creator epimendens (sorry for my spelling error) he created him to consume every bc epimendous/arval isn't argthan at all he's Foreign

This reminds me of the infamous 2 evil ending

It’s not Arval. Arval doesn’t exist by this point, as he’s been effectively absorbed by his creator. Arval was a blank canvas influenced by his creator the whole game.

So shez essentially created a time paradox which causes epimenides to take matters to kill Byleth himself to force summon sombron which of course doesn’t happen

I wish could have played as byleth in this level to warn the others

i hope byleth got power up in this game

I see that they just love leaving the important events for the epilogue in Edelgard routes... Before TWSITD in Three Houses, then the Unification of Fòdlan here... Just don't understand why

This actually isn’t just for the Edelgard route. You get this whole abyss scene in all of the routes as long as you don’t kill Byleth
