HILVERSUM - A fire broke out in a house on the Oude Amersfoortseweg in Hilversum on Thursday afternoon. A lot of smoke was released during the fire.
The Hilversum fire brigade was called to the fire at half past three. The fire started in a sauna and caused a lot of smoke. Fortunately, firefighters soon had the fire under control.
Childcare Kwibus is located in the basement of the villa. The children present were outside thanks to the automatic alarm system before the fire brigade arrived.
The cause of the fire is still unclear. The Fire Investigation Team therefore came on site to investigate. The Oude Amersfoortseweg was closed for some time because of the fire.
