We put on our sarongs and visited the Uluwatu Temple in Bali to watch the famous Kecak (Key-Chock) is & fire dance! The Kecak dance is a Balinese traditional art of dance-drama that narrates the story of the ancient Indian Ramayana epic. The music came from 70 chanting men, and the story followed 6 of the episodes involving the characters Rama, Sinta, Hanuman, and the demon king Ravana, ending with the fire dance where Rama kicks out the fire with his feet and hands!
