Oh my gosh you are just like us!!!! In Safford, AZ until March 2024. Rock hounding all the time!!! Soooo fun!!! Have gone to all areas in this vodeo!!!!! Hugs fro Safford!!!
Old Disabled House Bound Dusty Rusty Rockhound here: Look at that haul! You found so much potential fire! Congratulations! That area is so much fun! It's a great place for beginners! Something for everyone!
Your Enthusiasm is very refreshing. Tell your Momma and Daddy I said they did a good job!!! HAHAHA...
You're a girl after my own heart! Keep teaching us!
Always enjoy your escapades!
My daughter and I went here for a Spring Break road trip last week. We camped along the road to the rock hounding site and spent a few hours near our camp and a few hours near the sign for the rock hounding area. Found lots of beautiful rocks! Thanks for the video.
I need friends who drive in creeks. All my friends are like whaaa👶 we're gonna get stuck...whaaa
Next time you visit your friend, head towards Ash Peak right outside of Duncan (about a 25 minute drive from Safford). The fire agate there puts the stuff in the black hills to shame.
Your freaking cool as hell. Appreciate the geology lessons. Have a great one🤙

Whenever I've got out to that area, which has been a few years, I've spent a wonderful night or two at EoT. Hippie Heaven lol
I want to go there. I have a few bags of fire agate from Saddle Mountain. A little closer to home. I liked the piece of basalt with the vug in it. I would have kept that one.
I love the videos and I really like how you'll take the time to explain what you're talking about. I'm from Apache Junction and I have found some great fire agate within 10 min of my house.

@@ElleyKnowsRocks So I've watched quite a few videos trying to figure out what qualifies as fire agate. I've found there's a pretty broad range as far as what is considered fire agate. My question is, as long as the rock is agate/chalcedony and is globular with color, its considered fire agate?
I loved the Agate at 15:07 😍
I appreciate the porcupine earrings!!! #dinènationCIB
Yesterday I found a cool spot, but it required mountain goating (up here in the white mtns just a few hrs, if that, from saffaord). I was coming down a steep hill on my ass with my pockets and backpack full of rocks and a sandbag half full of heavy rocks on my shoulder. haha
I can take you to find Fire agate’s go digging ❤
We have the best rocks in this side of the universe, species come from light years away just to see our rare gemstone varieties
I am from the Gulf and I love to travel like you and your adventure is very beautiful. I thank you for all that you provide and I ask you to continue
You keep picking up chalcedony.how about some info on it? Fite agaye is usually found in it.
Let me know if you find Jeff 😂Williams and slim Out there😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Put a flashlight behind the stone shining through and you will see the interior of the rock pointing you to the fire.

Are you knew to her channel? She’s not just a rock hounder.
Hello!!! Huge fan of yours! I know of a couple spots nearby Ironwood Forest/Silverbell mountains/state trust land bordering the both/etc that I would be happy to show you sometime! Lots of fire agates and much more! I'm a local out here in Red Rock so it's in my backyard per day. Let me know if you ever get this way!

Heading next month to do some rock hounding in Safford. Any places that you would recommend outside of what are in the video? Mainly interested in fire agates just because of symbolism for the trip. Thanks for your help.
They form in the gas bubbles of the basalt.... Does that mean breaking open the basalt will maybe find you fire agates
Can you tell us what kinds of rocks are those green ones by the poop beetles?
Elley did you see any psudotektites in safford? i live in pearce two canyons south of cochise stronghold a geological anomaly its self. l believe ive found crystalized blue feldspar with degraded vug like pockets throughout and more recently corundum...🙂

She's too far up the hill for those. Also the agate down the hills already weathered out and basically polished

I live in Az and have been trying to find places to go rock hounding. Where in Safford is this? How can I find good rock hounding places? I’d really like to find some peridot too.

In the creek and we didn’t find any this time. But Matt still learned a bit about panning. He had never done it before. It was cool to see his enthusiasm about the rocks and panning :)
Hi Elley enjoying your videos. I would like you to come out to my property just south of Havasu. Many cool things to discover. Let me know.
Dung beetles Elley! That's mommy and daddy rolling their carefully compacted ball of manure back to a hole they've dug where they'll lay their eggs. Their bebbies as Zefrank would say, will hatch out and have a supply of food as they go from grubs to pupae. Then they'll emerge as mommies and daddies, get their own shi@ together and roll their own for their own families. Sorry, I'm a biologist as well as a rock (head) hound. TMI?
Tigers,eye???
Hunter is the "DUNG " beetle worker " DAD" Is DUNG beetle 2 non - worker !# the DUNG beetles delivered "&" now Chinese 🎈 s 😂
Elley has bugs !

Wear gloves, for safety, and big leather or strong Boots length covered legs for safety 👍 your stones knowledge 👍 is their any corundum minaral nearly place?
Hun, I performed the #watercarrierjourney in 2020, based upon a “dream-vision “ in 2016. Then I was given proof of a prophecy, stating “The Peaceful Warrior will timely, bring pristine water from another “land”, and travel efficiently (me? Bicycle and trailer from #waldolakeoregon to #chichiltahnewmexico), as a #steward, and a #leaderoftheWarriorsofTheRainbow. Today, I witness the changes, in the ecosystems of Arizona…#panchosez. Collaboration????
I was really excited and interested until I heard millions an millions of years……..where does that come from?
5:10. Dung beetles. And the Protector of the turd is actually the pivot point beetle- using leverage. #indigenousknowledge 🪶WalkINBeauty 🪶🙏🏾🌎✌️💯🌈🐕🏕️
