Fire Agates Safford AZ and Gila Box Rockhounding

Ғылым және технология

we are taking a beak this week from my frozen adventure because 1) I didn't get the video made cause my computer nearly ate the big one thank you God it did not!!! It's fixed now, so next week it will be back. and 2) I wanted to look at rocks :)
Today you will see some awesome Agate finds in Arizona. I love all things agates and odd shaped rocks.

My daughter and I went here for a Spring Break road trip last week. We camped along the road to the rock hounding site and spent a few hours near our camp and a few hours near the sign for the rock hounding area. Found lots of beautiful rocks! Thanks for the video.

Next time you're in Arizona, check out an Apache Tears mine just outside of Superior. Also, Ore Car Mine in Southern Nevada. Lots of different rocks and minerals there 👍. Just discovered your channel and it's fun to watch an excited fellow rockhounder 😊 I really need to go to Black Hills now!!!

@@ElleyKnowsRocks So I've watched quite a few videos trying to figure out what qualifies as fire agate. I've found there's a pretty broad range as far as what is considered fire agate. My question is, as long as the rock is agate/chalcedony and is globular with color, its considered fire agate?

Yesterday I found a cool spot, but it required mountain goating (up here in the white mtns just a few hrs, if that, from saffaord). I was coming down a steep hill on my ass with my pockets and backpack full of rocks and a sandbag half full of heavy rocks on my shoulder. haha

Dung beetles Elley! That's mommy and daddy rolling their carefully compacted ball of manure back to a hole they've dug where they'll lay their eggs. Their bebbies as Zefrank would say, will hatch out and have a supply of food as they go from grubs to pupae. Then they'll emerge as mommies and daddies, get their own shi@ together and roll their own for their own families. Sorry, I'm a biologist as well as a rock (head) hound. TMI?

Hun, I performed the #watercarrierjourney in 2020, based upon a “dream-vision “ in 2016. Then I was given proof of a prophecy, stating “The Peaceful Warrior will timely, bring pristine water from another “land”, and travel efficiently (me? Bicycle and trailer from #waldolakeoregon to #chichiltahnewmexico), as a #steward, and a #leaderoftheWarriorsofTheRainbow. Today, I witness the changes, in the ecosystems of Arizona…#panchosez. Collaboration????
