I think they look much better with made to move bodies. They look like they always should have had bodies in the first place

I love them on MTM bodies. I'd like to see some removable fabric tails inspired by their original ones so they could go from legs to fins as a nod to their roots.

Maybe they’ll make versions of them as humans? If so, that would be super cute! I only passed them up because of the whole mermaid tail 😅

The body swaps and outfits came out great! Personally I think mermaid dolls should always have the option for legs, the fins are fun but limiting. It's a shame because their original bodies had good articulation. I also agree with you about molded gloves, plain hands should come with.

Keep playing with your dolls. You don't have to outgrow them. I am in my 50's and still love playing with dolls.

Ok guys, I've done some comparisons to Project Mc2, and honestly MGA should've updated the body sculpt (possibly using some RH articulation🤔) for the Mermaze Mermaidz! That way, we can go from fins to feet no problem! Just give them aquatic & exuberant fabric tails to cover the legs, keep the fashion/hair top tier, and BOOM, Doll of the Year! Their faces are so pretty (and extremely similar to each other), despite the slight uncanny valley. At least Project Mc2 had a longer run though! It's so sad that Mermaze Mermaidz didn't go further! But you have inspired me to do so many of my own swaps and I'm quite pleased with the results! Love your channel MyFroggyStuff!! 🐸🐸🐸

There’s a doll line called Mermaid High they have removable tails and they have actual legs and feet and they come with like a skirt or shorts and a pair of shoes and a couple of other accessories. I don’t know if you’ve heard of them or if you seen them yet but they look super cute.

Thank you for such a clearly shown and spoken delivery! I am wondering whether your first doll may be representing festival braids, very soft sparkly artificial braids young people in South America seem to be wearing at concerts and parades.

I think Shanelle could benefit from the original Mermaze hands, since they're so delicate looking, but considering consistency, the normal MTM hands still look good.

I love your rebodies for them! I genuinely love the mermaid concept too, but the fact that their tails are stiff and non bendable are what's still keeping me on the fence about getting them. The child in me would feel bad for them not being able to really "sit" like Ariel or Barbie in their mermaid forms. They're stuck standing all the time and can't give their fins a break🤣

I would love to see those hybrids with the original mermaid chlotes, and with matching pants and shoes.

I like the faces and eyelashes, not sure about all that wild unruly hair. Paying a lot just for a head. Back in the 80's it was trendy for awhile to wear lacy wrist things, like fingerless gloves, maybe that's what they were going for. They'd sometimes have a finger loop for your middle finger to keep them in place. I remember seeing them in MTV music videos. Oh watching a second time, they have nice hand poses too
