Finn and his two herd mates have been with us for over a year. Finn is a 4 yo gelding. He has a distinctive personality, being the most curious and care-free. He is happy to have a protective herd mate, named Remi.
This was Finn’s first experience doing this. It was a bit windy which might have distracted him. He did great at going potty before loading into my van for the 15 minute drive.
I noticed that he seemed to not even want to take his pelleted treats toward the end of our 30-45 minute visit. I even caught him stomping/kicking his left rear leg as the visit was progressing. I was very happy that he allowed the patients to pet him and stare into his beautiful engaging eyes!! A good time was had by all!!
I have actually never seen him load into the van so effortlessly when we were done!! (He was first offered his “porta-potty” but did not use it).
