Finishing my 600cc crosskart and making it street legal!?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In today's video I'm finishing my 100hp+ gsxr600 powered cross cart buggy. And talking about street legal it after. This is probably the lightest and most aggressive one yet.

    I have litterly watched 100's of cross kart build vids. And to be absolutely honest I have to say I'm really diggen the design and size of the frame. Its somewhat reminiscent of the old Honda 350 & 400... Excellent work..!

  • @dylanyates6331
    @dylanyates63312 жыл бұрын

    Just a few notes from years of researching crosskarts: 1. This is awesome 2. You're gonna have to run at least a gallon in the tank to prevent fuel slosh. If the unit is upright you can use the fuel level sensor thats on it too 3. Please put a lot of detail into the street legal part of this build. There are many crosskarts out there but few if any street legal ones. Very interested to see how you do it. 4. Having a short chain like that could lead to excess heat, especially with the extra weight. Consider using a 1000cc xring chain (if you haven't already) and potentially a chain oiler. Chain oiler also helps with dirt from trails, as would a full chain guard

  • @VasilyBuilds

    @VasilyBuilds

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks! Yes ideally I should have put a baffle in the tank. I will have to run it mostly above halfway. And I will be using an x ring chain, I've experienced overheating issues on chains 4x smaller than this so I don't think it will have problems with that

If it was said in the video series I apologize, I unfortunately don’t have time to watch all videos completely. Is it trial and error or do you go off existing cross carts for your design?
