When you do it as a business you have to recover the hours - and you succeeded in doing that. Love the handle -

I dunno about that knife maker saying, I make plenty of mistakes but the difference is how well you recover from them :) This also applies to angle grinders and buffing wheels

I like it. I’ve come to find that a lot of times the drawing is more of a guide line than a plan. Plus, how many knives do you have that you’re 100% sure what the grain structure looks like!

I had something really similar happen to one of my knives a bit back. It was going to be a really nice chefs knife, now its a less nice cleaver. Oh well. Im making the tip into a micro folder so thats fun. If your taking suggestions you should make the broken off tip from today's mishap into something on Saturday. Also if you start the livestreams at 6:30 i may miss the beginning occasionally be dinner runs late sometimes. Great finished result!

I actually prefer the 'accidental' profile tbh. I think you should turn the original tip into a keychain... Maybe a ferro-rod striker.

This situation reminds me of Donald Trump. He never admits defeat, and pushes through until he wins. You should run for office. I’m thinking school board is a good diving board. Just don’t let adolescents w wieners into the girls bathroom and you will have won again. Sheesh, the future is looking bright for you.
