Ouch! 2 stars. That is a shame the series ended so badly. Seemed to be a real trudgery to get through. Shouldn't be like that for such a long book. That section you described about the king was a definite eye roller. I'm surprised P lets you read so long without bugging you. You need to read a few short good books to keep motivated. Take care and enjoy your 4th.

Totally! I felt like they could have done so much but it was so hard to get through. So long as we’re outside he won’t bother me at all, he just loves sunbathing! 😂 Enjoy the holiday!
I hope P did ok last night. Sometimes those quite neighborhoods are worse on the 4th.

He did okay!! Thanks for asking 😊 they were a little loud but he just hid under the bed and we played some music for him
