Impossible to tell because Tolkien uses conflicting statements. On the one hand he says that Fingolfin was the strongest of the Noldor. On the other he says that Feanor was the mightiest in all parts of BODY and was the greatest spirit. So both of them are stated to be strongest Elves by Tolkien unless someone could interpret “mightier in body” different than “stronger”. That being said both are impressive. Neither of them seems to use magic to fight like other elves like Galadriel and Finrod so battle seems to come into pyshicall stats and their spiritual power. I would say Feanor is more enduring and tireless while Fingolfin might be more skilled with weapons. I think its also 50/50 and I could see both winning.

I don't think Fingolfin was stronger than Feanor, it is stated he was the mightiest in all body parts and mind , that's the description in the Silmarillion, he was defeated because he faced alone a group of balrogs led by Gothmog

Well Tolkien stated that Fingolfin was the strongest Elf, so it looks like Fingolfin was stronger physically than Fëanor, he presumably had stronger hröa (body) than his older brother, who had stronger fëa (soul), being more powerful doesn't exactly provide superior strength, look for example of Tulkas and Melkor

Fingolfin lived longer than Fëanor and he fought in much more battles so he has more experience, Fëanor takes stamina as he was able to fight with Squad of Balrogs for pretty long time nearly definitely longer period time than Fingolfin's duel against Morgoth which he lost mainly due to being tired
