I moved from the UK BSL to the US and was devastated to find the difference in ASL...As if being deaf isn't isolating enough.

ASL finger spelling is one hand. BSL finger spelling is two handed.

I have been finger spelling since I was a toddler to communicate with my Grandparents. As if communicating isn't hard enough I can not imagine attempting conversation like this one. Mouthing Mistletoe. If you know the Deaf fingerspelling it is not repetitive it is far more private and all you do is spell out the words so even if the word is infrequently used it is just a matter of spelling just like a letter. NO GUESSWORK!!!!! There is so much you can do to help Jasmin with her speech and this opens up her world when speaking to everyone in the hearing world."

In the KZread settings you can choose 'playback speed' and put one of the slow options. If you do it on a video with sound it sounds funny :). But for sign language it just looks like they're signing veeeery sloooowly.

I think Jazzy should learn how to lose. She gets irritated whenever she loses, just like a 5-year-old

Why she couldn’t speak English properly

I wish u was not deaf anymore jazzy but there is a way u can't be deaf anymore. You can go see a doctor that can help with deaf
