Daaang dude! I feel you on that one though. Not to that extent but my arthritis makes it very difficult for me to skate. I know the feeling of having fingerboarding keeping me connected to almost that same feeling of skateboarding. Hopefully you find your group and begin that journey man.

Yeahhhhhhhh!! Something I did forget to mention is when building those connections with people from all over is sometimes they travel around too. I've had people from from out of state hit me up and said they wanted to meet up because they were coming to San Antonio too. Not very often but it definitely happens.

I'm actually not 100% on how to grow a scene there but i'd imagine it would be roughly the same steps. One thing I did forget to mention is making those connections with a lot of people will open up the possibility of still meeting up because people do randomly travel all over. I've had a few people from out of states here in the US hit me up saying they are either coming to San Antonio or near San Antonio and they'll drive to come sesh.
