Another amazing video. Thank you for making these wonderful videos. They have provided tremendous help for my anatomy and physiology students, and for me! This is also quite relevant to pianists and other musicians who need manual dexterity.

Super cool video, I cut through my flexor tendon in my index finger and couldn’t move my finger at all, but the OR* was able to reconstruct the structures and through PT I was able to regain most of the mobility in my index finger. There still is a lack of “slide and glide” of the tendon due to scar tissue but at least I can use my finger still! It’s crazy because the surgeon had to cut all the way down into my hand to recover the tendon because of the tension it was under it ended up resting below the finger

Brilliant explanation of the anatomy of our fingers. I've severed the two tendons on my fingers of my right hand, little and trigger finger. Had the operation to fix them, but whether I get full movement again is anyone's guess. Thanks for the video.

@SamWebster I am searching for a video that compares the nerves of the arms and the nerves of the legs. Do you have any information related? I will appreciate it.

After chemo i would wake at night and find my middle finger movements jerking from extended to clenched and also the other way. Rather than a smooth movement. I’ve been trying to find out what might cause it. No clicking just a jerk from one position to the next.

I just got a cortisone injection for trigger thumb. It is not stuck or really clicking but painful and doctor and I can feel it. I go back in 2 months to see how it is. This is 2nd shot. Plus I had cmc surgery in May and this has been one of my roadblocks. He said most likely I will need the surgery. But I also feel bump at a2 pully. ? It is in the Palmer side just above joint. It is sensitive to the touch. He didn’t say what it could be just was having me bend that joint and asking if bending hurts. It does not hurt when bending if I grasp something yikes…bothersome don’t know if inflammation is extending that far up. I did have nerve irritation from surgery but site is ok now, just pain with pinching motion, buttoning, tying small things. Can’t play my guitar for a while now.😞
