Great video. Have you been back to this canal to see how the fish population is going as the greenway bush regeneration has developed? Thanks so much for sharing your passion, not only for fishing, but the environment. Cheers Mel

Had the exact same experience today in Johnson's Creek, Glebe. Hits every cast. Landed over 15 bream.

That was awesome, and in my neck of the woods. I had scouted out the area looking for aquarium fish, but haven't followed up yet. Will definitely be taking a rod with me now.

It’s a great spot throughout the canal and love my urban fishing as well as your content too Aaron. Keep them coming. Maybe a chippo or prospect or cabra creek vid as both have some great fishing similar to the parra.

Nothing wrong with having an “ Uncle Merv “ at the passing wildlife 😉 A little surface prawn lure would of made great footage mate. Good effort 😎🇦🇺👍🍺

I used to catch Poddy mullet and small Bream in the drains outside my Granddads house in Sylvania Waters during king tides with a hand line and doe for bait when I was a kid.

If we could ever stop Sydney water putting sewerage in it - ain’t that the truth. I saw what I think was mullet maybe a year before this video and I remember the tree fall at cadigal reserve that took out the fence. It’s great seeing the animals come back when the regen happens. Makes it so valuable.

And where you caught the fish at Marion station, I’ve seen a Royal spoonbill fishing at low tide.

Another enjoyable vid. I ride these canals all the time and regularly see Mullet sniffing around, great to see to land some fish way upstream.

Love that canal Aaron . Unfortunately the state government has had to cancel the light rail services there , so haven't fished it for quite a while . Their trams are crap made overseas ,,, and the same ones they're using on the Parra lightrail when it starts up.
