Finding The Lost Silver Spear Mine

This week, I'm back to explore the mines I found in my last video! The snow melted, my friend Johnny was able to come to town, and we went exploring!
This is the last mine exploration for a while, and I hope you enjoy. Next week I'm back with lots of building renovations I've been working on! I hope you subscribe and follow along for the ride!
You can get more photos of the adventures on Instagram: / brentwunderwood

*Please* get a respirator for when you explore the mines. All that dust you're kicking up is in a large part free silica which permanently binds to your lungs and damages them over time. That's the same stuff that kills potters, construction workers, and along with coal dust, miners too. I know I posted this before and I'll probably post it every time but I think your longevity is important.

You mentioned the fate of the previous owners and that Cerro Gordo took so much from them and that it would be hard for you to NOT compare yourself with them. But I want to remind you that there is one major difference between then and today, one major advantage YOU have: It is us. Your viewers, subscribers and fans of Cerro Gordo. For more than a century, this small mining town was not as known as it is today. It is known across the globe. And together with your loyal subscribers and patreons, you are not alone - like the same previous owners were. You have thousands of people standing by you and helping you to fund your dream. Which is now the dream of all of us as well. P.S.: Do you remember me from the premiere?

Your appreciation of the mining towns history is apparent by your knowledge, as well as your appreciation of the land and mountain ranges surrounding it.You never forget to enjoy a sunrise or sunset. You’re quirky sense of humor and personality is PERFECT for this project! It was made fore you! If you ever want company or just need a helping hand on an exploration, building, pulling weeds, ghost hunting etc... I’d jump at the chance to help out! Or if you ever need someone to babysit your land while you take a break. That’s actually what I do now ( for the last decade)... live on 13 acres of someone’s land and care for their land and property. (As well as their small farm.)I’m not a construction worker.. but I’m a Biologist/Zoologist, writer, paramedic, journal maker, jewelry maker, farmer, tornado chaser, ghosthunter (until I see one 😂) I can DIY anything & ive lived in the mountains solo for 10 years... so I’m good w being alone! Be careful out there! So much could happen solo. Thank goodness you have a KZread channel, so we know if you suddenly don’t put out a vid!!

Percy Hart was obsessed with the place, you say? HaHaHa! Oh my, Mr. Brent! You said you want to spend your life there~ and so shall it be. Many people never find what they want to finish out their life on/in; but you have. Good for you & thanx much for sharing it with us. You sound a bit like an archeologist/anthropologist.
