@@mihailpetrov2844 looks to be a sledgehammer, a great weapon for damage, but uses a lot of endurance. It is found in warehouses, near construction vehicles, and rarely in construction zones. They can also destroy any build, most useful to open up gun stores.

I also suggested the sledgehammer but it looks kind of different on the image. Not sure but it's cool. I hope to find out if it's from a mod or vanilla.

I just did this last night to save me and my girlfriend from a horde that we started on where my weapon broke.. told her to pull adds while I grabbed the car and her shouting didn't pull them all to her.. it was intense

It wasn’t lying, a lot of content was removed from the game due it bugs and parts being incomplete. At the time it was said it was true.

@@alt666 i know it’s 11 months later but at release i had so much fun with fallout 76. It was probably because i was blinded by nostalgia but it just felt so fun to me.

That much population would break anyone, no man alive could survive that easily.

Man... This is my daily, West Point 6 Months Later every run. You get to a point where most of your deaths come from the fact you lowkey want to die.

If you’re carrying an empty bottle, you quickly can check if a car has gas. You have to be practically touching the car, but if you’re close enough and right click on it then you’ll get a “siphon gas” option if it has fuel

The bottle will dissolve from the gasoline, gas cans are made of polyethylene so they don't dissolve.

@@jacobhoover1654 Actually, most plastics don't dissolve, including whatever the hell zomboid plastic bottles are made of. Styrofoam, such as that in disposable drinking cups, does, however.

The only viable way to survive 16x would be to either run to a cabin or to start in riverside and bolt for the nearest farmhouse, even then the population is absurd in the fields.

The missing lighter was unlucky. Unfortunately when you equip a lighter (i.e. to light a molotov), it keeps draining after it turns on. You have to manually turn it off. I had this problem oh so many times.

I just got back into the game, spawned, alarm instantly went off and a horde jumped me before I left the house.

Hey you may not have known but any item in your Secondary (excluding 2 handed items) are dropped if you vault a high fence, be careful with bags and screwdrivers! Edit : If you want a good chance of a car with gas in them, look for locked cars and smash in the window, preferably not the driver seat window and you can unlock the car door and swap seats to the driver seat and start hotwiring, locked cars have the highest chance to have gas in them. To narrow down the search for these cars, they usually appear in mint-condition with minimal damage to the car body.

My characters current story, spawned in riverside and had to run straight out to the river through thousands of zombies during the helicopter event, and run along the bank, found a couple of houses on the outskirts shortly after the event ended, a fair amount of zombies were around the building but none inside, looted that one and the 2 small buildings next to it, had a food shortage and killed 150 zombies only to find a house full of toilet paper as my food supply got worse, even the fridge and stove had toilet paper, past that house I later found high calorie food, recently also just found a fair amount of canned food in a house in the opposite direction away from riverside, then found a zombie that had fire department gear on with a gas mask who also held a key, close by was a burned house with a fire department truck sitting, thankfully it had some gas and was in driveable condition, so now I have an escape option and a small farm, he is my 9th character in just 13 days.

16x population will not just break me but my laptop as well. 💀

3:34, Friendly advice; never let the dead corner you, like ever,, you were basically a big metal can for them to open and get the juicy meal inside. Unless you have time, don't hotwire cars, even if you manage to hotwire it, maybe there's no gas. But you learned that the hard way lol.

So far this has looked exactly how my vanilla apocalypse runs have gone.

I regularly play with 16x. My advice is to simply grab everything from the spawn house and then make your way for any of the powerline routes. Stick to the wilderness for early game and utilize the very rural areas until you've acquired a good position to start a massive bonfire. Ol' reliable is boring, but it will get the job done. Step 1: find any loud vehicle Step 2: Start Fire Step 3: Park against any solid barrier with the driver-side flush against it Step 4: Make some snacks and wait as the horde melts Step 5: Loot the vacant area I do not recommend 16x on Kingsmouth without a good PC however. The resort is no joke. I have a beast and it still struggles whenever I decide to poke the beehive.

Yeah engineer is a must if you are attempting this challenge. The ability to be able to make fire bombs instantly with the more traits mod is such a boon in the early game when you are making you arsenal.

My friend and I started a zomboid server that's max zombie count as our first experience in the game. We holed up in the fire house in rosewood till the power went out then found a house northwest of the town that had virtually no zombies. We built a log barricade for the impending doom around the house and are awaiting our demise so far but the strat to 16x is to play very patiently if you want to clear an area or yell to gather them all and throw a molotov, kiting them around until they all burn to death. Also cars will never last because of the sheer number of zombies you're gonna drive through no matter how good of a driver you are. GL

I’ve been playing 16x pop for a while now and I have the TWD prison map mod on, I accidentally stumbled onto it leaving McCoy logging co and spent 2 irl hours just killing zombies in the courtyard before even making it inside. By the end my pc was lagging from all the blood and bodies and I killed nearly 2K zombies just in the prison alone. Crazy shit

Your only hope of survival in these situations is to run for the woods and lose them, then, either build or find an isolated cabin, and make small trips to the city for quick supplies or amass a big group to burn them, always away from the buildings

I accidentally did this too. It didn’t break me, but sure did break my computer and its frame rate.

16x is pretty bonkers. I did it on the 4th character and managed to make it out of the city. The kicker? Zombies focused on urban areas rather than rural; peak population on day 1; peak population set to max; zombies memory/sight/hearing were all superhuman levels. I had to run for 45 minutes straight to make it to the middle of nowhere and lose them. Couldn’t take 1 step without bumping shoulders with 50 zombies.

*How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man?* *Breaks window drags you out and eats you*

biggest rule, never try out your luck on a random car while surrounded by zombies. theres no runners so its really easy to get away from them, instead of putting yourself in a situation where you cant walk out anymore.

This looks like the server I’ve been playing on for like 8 months, I Randomly found it became friends with the owner and we have a nice little group that’s plays on it and I’m not sure what the pop is but I can’t breathe without 100 zombies on me, it’s tough to start but so fun

I threw a noise maker in that school yard and though the game was just bugging but glad to know their pathing is just weird here

Put it on uniform zombies and youll see even more pop. found that one out in debug mode since everytile has the same amount of zombies at zombie peak time

I’m playing on a modded server that runs 16x population, with a mod that causes them to group into groups of 15 or so and migrate constantly, I’ve killed 1400 in West Point and massive hordes still wander to my base daily, and the only reason I have a base is because I spent 6 hours spawning, killing till my bat broke, respawning and killing again, it’s hell

@BiggestBaddestBeaver what is that mod with the status levels next to the inventory at the top left of the screen? I've been looking forever and asking all over the place to find it but no luck yet (Probably really simple name but I still can't find it by searching for what it does)

when u die in this game does what the previous character did stay on the playthru? ie burned buildings and dead zombies and loot saved in bases etc?

everything besides stats stays, you can grab your loot though from your old dead body

Yeah the world is persistent until you delete it. On default settings, the old character will be roaming as a zombie.
