That's a great winters day session Mark. Some clonking good condition browns here mate. That 7½ lb one was a beaut. It's always awesome to be out on the river any time you can get and it looked like the weather turned it on for ya. It's good we are getting a bit of rain now though. The rivers certainly need it.

Thanks Tristan, a few surprises on this session, so pleased with the results, we have got the rain also now, much needed and the fish will be moving up.

Its always pleasing getting onto a few winter browns. Good content. I came across your channel on a comment of yours I seen on the fly life channel. Ive subscribed

Nice reward for a chilly days fishing! Been very tough down here, even had to resort to the canals last couple of days :^(

Yes thanks Paul, was quite surprised to find those good fish still so far down the system still, the rain has hit now so they will be pushing up now no doubt, hmmm the canals, I have not been down for a crack in those yet, but at least you know there are good numbers in them.

Must breed em tough down your neck of the woods. Wet wading in Winter 😮 Mind you are they back country skins? They are pretty warm I believe

Hi Daniel,hmmm tough, mad maybe😊 yes correct skinz, they are quite good, get a little uncomfortable if walking really long distances but bearable.

Hey there m8..thought I recognized you on the tube..just found my new fav fishing channel..great content bro ..i was on the same river .same day but down stream of you..good results as well. Big stonefly nymph. ..we should go fishing again one day..maybe the Arnold for old times sake.??churs m8 ..

Hi Shane, this was a great session, surprised to find as many as I did. Bit harder to get motivated on those cold winters mornings, sadly the arnie is getting really willowed out now, even the home block is challenging to fish, be great to catch up for a fish sometime, great to hear your still casting a fly.

Hi Tony, yes I wet wade all year round, neoprene socks and long skinz keep me warm enough.........most of the time🥶
