I got my last one through the internet. A C-Scope 1220XD a full £100 cheaper through their online supplier. A decent 'cheap' beginners detector start from around £80.00. But depending what country you live in they could be dearer or cheaper. Don't be tempted to by a 'motion' detector, I've used several from different manufacturers and found they are very prone to false signals which send you NUTS!! You could try a S/Hand model, all very good, but loads cheaper. Once the bug bites, its for life!

Excellent slugs mate!! Thanks for the vids.Greg, your a fool mate.
Its wearing me out just watching him dig in the heat...i know what thats like and it sucks the strenth right out of you.. Great find..spend it wisely
half the digging was away from the detecting site....im amazed someone could drag a detector across to the camera...must be a cheap detector and you could probably do with some wireless headphones if your just going to drop and dig with the headphones stlil on
Well done brother!
Pulling dirt all over your control box ?
That is absolutely amazing!
Once the bug bites, its for life!
look at all that quartz and iron rich soil!!!....gold country!!
on a nugget this size 20 inches max. the detector it likely picking up my pick in the video (say at 4 ft)
sweet work!! keep it up 2!! cool :)
Hey Mate are you near ASP?
anyone know which detector that is?
didnt think much of this at first then ..... hoooray yep you desrve some fun man on your own diggin holes in the wilderness like being a kid all over again great vid :)
just like that hey ?? Dam thats a pretty sweet hobby/job whatever it is for you !! You basically just dug up 6g's . Do you do this often ??
that was great, Thats gold fever digging....wow. pow, pow, crunch,
nice one :) whats the detector???
awesome find!
wow, nice stuff. Its probably easy getting lost huh? Do you camp out and go on expeditions?
Your 100 detector would overload on that bad ground. Looks like Western Australia. That's a Minelab PI. White's has now introduced the TDI PRO, even better for less money.
done his money worth of work.... walking around all day, in the dust, in the heat, having the patience... same as doing a 9 to 5
@TheMadCrumpet its probably worth the same in relation to inflation and what he could buy for what he sold it for if so.
UK £3000 , around US$5000, although I guess the buyers would offer somewhat less.
Well done mate!
That's a $9000 nugget... ripper for sure!
wheres this at?
