What are the NO GOs when it comes to choosing your career? We would love to know what are the things that help you decide which career path you want to pursue.
The job outlook. If the career has a very low number of open positions that would lead me to believe that the career is dying or if the industry is struggling or polluting the environment, those are my NO GOs. I would also look at the number of graduates vs. the job openings so I don’t enter a very competitive job market but rather would want an industry where the employers are competing for the workers.
