I remember thinking this was "Exit 8 but British" while watching the stream because the subway looked a lot like those in England when I was studying there. I like how this game leans more into horror and unsettling stuff.

That's actually more so how I would describe midnight monitor aldercourt... This game actually has a unique objective where alder court is literally get through the station 8 times to get to the exit.

This game had me on edge so much that the alarm I had on my phone jump scared me harder than the video did

The way this guy just steps around corners without looking gives me mega anxiety.

You should really play "voices of the void". You are finding signals in your base and doing maintenance of your satelliets while something is stalking you slowly.

While I agree, feel like VotV wouldn't work for Insym being a very slow game and can be a pain in the ass for people not prepared for it.

It's a really good game but it wouldn't necessarily make for a good stream because of how meticulous it can get.

From what I can well there is no 'set' stop you just go until you find a normal exit. So the idea to just walk in and out of the train until the end wouldn't actually work since you don't know what the end is

This game is super cool. I love all the Exit 8 themed games. There was a couple of good jump scares in this game 🙂

That “do you remember” bit was very reminiscent of another game thats been stuck in my head for years but I cant actually remember what its called.

I always feel so uneasy when just starting playing or watching these games because I don’t know what to expect yet 😅 This one is very cool

I was about to say it would be really awesome, and new, if in observation duty style games, it changed it up every game. Once you beat it, it changed a few things around, so each game would be fresh and new. I absolutely love that developers finally did this!

​@@LoveRituals Just cause you're doing observation duty and turning back when there's an anomaly doesn't make it a clone. It's how they change the way you deal with the anomalies. For this one, some of the anomalies are kinda unique, like the poster at the start, and the concept of there being only one exit station and how you turn back when there are anomalies.

Also, the atmosphere here, unlike some other observation games, kinda keeps you on edge the whole way through

Just got Anomaly Exit and apparently you don't just have to find the Anomaly, but you can also mark it too ; and if you get it wrong that kills you too.

Reminds me of Knock Harder. That game was so cool.

The things changing to become the default reminds me of the light under the bed and chairs in Project 13

exit 8 games are being extremely worn out. There needs to be a mix of observation and Exit games where you need to have someone watch the cameras and another one go up to the anomaly to fix it and work together as a team to survive or try doing it alone.

It seems to be a random number of anomalies, and you go until you get one with none, then the game ends. So it’s not a set number of stations like other games have.

The goal is to find the normal station and then exit. You cannot exit at an anomaly infested station, it will kill you, so in those case you need to board the train and hope the next station is normal. You can of course loop at a normal station as well, but the game will go on forever until you escape.

I really want to develop a game like this. I have experience in programming but not in game development. does anyone know a good starting point to develop this specific kind of indie game?
