I'd save money by getting tarmac scalpings. Makes great roads and is a waste product, so you can get away with bunging them £40 cash per lorry.

We considered that as one of the options. But... the horses will still use the field in the winter, so we wanted to keep it as grass. Plus, it was in our planning statement, so we're stuck with it now. Maybe if I get the neighbour's field I can get some proper roadways laid.......
