😂 my poor tomatoes are getting kicked outside this week cold or not. But I can always fleece them. I grow loads, we mainly like beefsteak varieties. Happy sowing Helen, have an amazing weekend, Ali 🌤️🇨🇦

I got the tomatoes so wrong this year! Sowed in February and now two feet high. I am planting them outside this weekend and they will either survive or not! I will be using Charles Dowding’s annual tomato sowing date in future - 10 March. We grew Roma for the last three years. Didn’t eat a single one; they make superb sauce.

My tomatoes are about a foot tall now, I am copying Tony C and potting them up into 1 litre pots at the weekend so they can sit outside on my slope against the wall but I can bring them inside if the weather gets too cold… Roma are really for making sauce as they have thick flesh and not many seeds.
