The steak bagel is one of the best fast food items out there. It’s pretty dang close to heaven on earth.

I really enjoyed the Grandma McFlurry. I was even more impressed by the fact the ice cream machine was working! 🙌🏻😺

I used to get the steak bagel all the time. It was messy but i think the sauce and grilled onions made it great. Too bad they stopped selling them here around 5 years ago when i think they were only $4.59.

I have tried it with round egg too, super messy.

I had worked at McDonald's for 7 years. From crew member up into management. Leaving back in 1992, long before the Bagel sandwiches. That said, our folded eggs were cooked using a scoop of cracked and mixed eggs. The scoop equaling about 2 eggs. The round poached egg of course being one egg. Also made the biscuits by hand. Too much inconsistency there depending who was mixing the batter. No idea how it's all done now. As far as the bagel sandwiches, I've been hoping they'd bring them back for years. That steak one, sorry to disagree, but I get it with extra onions!! And it's awesome. Good review, guess I'll have to try the sausage one. Maybe I'll have them throw some onions it too!

I stand by the steak bagel. The steak is well seasoned and paired with a hash brown and OJ. Filling breakfast. The folded egg comes in frozen and is thawed in the walk in for breakfast (worked for mcds for 5 years). I tend to not eat out for breakfast as much due to cost. It's cheaper to buy cereal and milk and maybe some donuts or buy my own bagels and Crack an egg or two add cheese.

They should call it something else other than steak. The gaslighting is great with this.

Honestly some of these fast food places just aren’t worth it anymore. When a fast casual place can offer better quality and service at around the same price that’s telling you something there.

Yup. May as well sit and enjoy a quality meal, looking out at the beach.

Anytime you use an app for fast food they always charge for substitutions and prices actually could be more than talking to an actual person. These apps are just a way to sneakily raise prices on things that usually didn’t cost a thing other than a small conversation with the counter

In regards to the real egg though, app or not, they never used to charge for the substitution. You could just ask and they were happy to do it. Greed sucks.

This is EXACTLY why I don’t go to McDonald’s anymore. Between the increase in prices especially costing extra for add ons, and the quality remaining mediocre at best. It’s just not worth it. If I go to breakfast It’s either Carl’s Jr or Chick Fil A for me.

I alway find good deals at Wendy's, Hardee's, and Taco Bell. I like to grab Wendy's Biscuits & Gravy for $2.39 and then use the app for get a free Seasoned Potatoes with any purchase. I then grab my free Senior Coffee from them and I have a filling breakfast for under $3.
