I love the sound of those duel tone sirens!!

I like that you share a morbid fascination with me and the rest of us that also love these super creepy sirens. What adds to their fun eeriness, of course, is that they're there to warn us of the escape of a dangerous lunatic(s) from Carstairs hospital. It's kind of exciting too, as you know that one day, that siren going off could be the real thing, sending the whole area there into lockdown, broadcast news alerts, & police dog hunts. I love these video captures of them. Your footage is absolutely first rate & great to chill to. Sadly, I'm too far away to go & hear the sirens for myself (thanks to rip-off privatised train fares), or I'd be there around the fascinating State Hospital myself, for _shits n' giggles!_ So thanks for bringing these to your distant audience! I love it all. Great work.

Hey thanks for your awesome comment! 😁 Much appreciated 👍🏻 And you're exactly right, it's not just the sound of them that's eerie, it's when you actually remember why they're being tested and what they're for, that's when you realize just how scary it could potentially be. Btw I have the same problem as you only in reverse lol I can't get down to England or I'd be filming the siren systems down south and beyond, I've seen the videos they sound amazing but I can't get to them for a very long time yet, if most of them are still even there by then 🙄 so I fully understand your plight. Again though I really appreciate your comment and the fact my videos entertain you and many others far and wide, I always do my best with my vids, even when it frequently doesn't't quite go to plan lol 🔊😁👌🏻

@@thunderchild2756 That's perfectly alright! Some of the most entertaining vids are ones that don't go precisely as planned, laden with quirks & fun! A creator is always her own strongest critic too! As long as you're having fun, that's the main thing. And I'm stating the obvious here, but do stay safe! I love seeing good ol' Scotland again; I haven't been up there since my childhood in the 1990s when my dad drove me, my mom & sis _all_ the way up to the Highlands to visit & stay with rellies. My clan's scattered all over the place there! When I get driving I'll be back. Re the hospitals down here (Broadmoor, Ashworth & Rampton), they're still quite far from me too! I've not seen those buildings in the flesh. But wow, what creepy places with very interesting histories within those fortresses!

Must change from star to delta configuration on the run up, which gives the sudden speed up , awesome video

I actually just got to hear one of these things a few days ago.. well, a version of it. We had SirenCon 2023 here in the United States, and someone just so happened to bring a Castle Castings there. Best part: it was running on 50Hz.
