I second the cover recommendations everyone's made, I recommend the Welcome to the Black Parade cover they made for a fanmeet (which they graciously uploaded to their channel) and I also surprisingly really liked a cover they did of a jyp (the person lol) song, they genuinely made it their own (I apologize for not putting the title but it's in korean 😅). They've also covered some day6 songs, specifically I'm serious and zombie. Now pertaining to dear h., it was written by Junhan (one of the guitarist, he's the one who does the guitar solos in songs like freakin' bad). The song kind of talks about someone who's going through a hard time (while suppressing it) and deep down wishes (and longs) for someone to speak to them, but in the end realizes that acknowledging all these different feelings could lead to being better. It's assumed that he's talking about the rest of the members and how they've helped him. It's unofficial but the h stands for hope or heroes.

Hey, do you think you'll check out their second album Overload soon? Along with mv for the title track Hair cut, I personally find the album a bit more on the "experimental" side, maybe? But overall it's really fucking good, likd uve said, their music is interesting 😂

Oh my god my internet went out right when I posted my comment and now the comment is in the void. OF COURSE I DECIDED NOT TO COPY IT IN CASE. It was basically a long comment about how Bicycle is my favorite cause it's harder and darker and Ode says "shit" which I think is XH's first swear word (I don't count the lines in Freakin Bad). Then I talked about Korn and how yeah I agree it sounds like Korn and so does the beginning of Bad Chemical (from Livelock) right after the intro. Then I agreed with you about Checkmate and it sounding familiar but I just can't remember where I've heard the sound before. Then I went on a long spiel about how I hate ballads and Dear H. is more impactful to me because it sounds like depression and I've been depressed before but I've never been in love so I can't relate to Good Enough. And I'm also salty that people say Good Enough is their favorite song from a group who's considered a rock band. God I hate my laptop so much for losing internet 🙄 This comment is nowhere near as articulate as my original one. I need a new laptop 😢🥲

I don’t even think I caught Ode swearing😹 I actually see what u mean with bad chemical too (ironically, my fav bside from Livelock) I get what u mean! ballads aren’t typically my thing but the massive vocals always move me. And LOL I understand the feeling about good enough but u can’t help it it’s just so good. I love their other sounds obviously but somethin about good enough just tugs at my heart I hope if u decide to comment again technology treats u better 🫶😅
