optional date complication, get rid of the divers extension which only makes the clasp huge, 20mm not 21mm lugs. Other than that it's a great watch... no faux rivets either!

It looks great on your wrist man. I went with the LHD because Bucherer didn’t have the 39 in stock at the time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do with mine! Also, while many people consider the 21mm lug width to be undesirable, I think it’s actually pretty ingenious design because of the dramatic taper down to ~16mm… Gives off that integrated bracelet look.

I got a 39mm black bay…as you said 39mm is the perfect size

I love that they didn’t mess it up with an ugly poorly done date window like so many other watches. Tudor is killing it with the Pelagos and BB58

Wish it had a scratch resistant coating that more affordable watches like seiko have on their Ti watches

Apparently the bezel action sound is mimicking the sound of a Swiss made safe. How cool is that!!!??

Sadly the lume on the hands differs from lume on the dial. It's now a known fault. Look carefully.

Hey, awesome vid, thanks! I am planning to pick one of these up in the near future and I'd be interested if the rubber strap is also included with the bracelet one? For reference, I am gonna buy this in a Tudor boutique here in Europe.

My Pelagos 39 runs +4 seconds per day yet the Chinese homage of this watch by Octopus runs -1 seconds per day at a fraction of the cost and the San martin homage uses grade 5 titanium but the Tudor uses grade 2 at more than 10 times the price.

This is my dream watch. The moment I saw it in the store. I wish I had $6000 CAD to spend…😅

I rather have the LHD Pelagos

only wish it comes with a date function, but rolex will never allow tudor to be at their best. rolex mandates tudor to engineer into their near-perfect watches, at least 1 fatal flaw in order to protect themselves from internal cannibalization.

Got mine 2weeks ago - phenomenal. Basically a Sub for over $5k less (if you could buy one at an AD). AND titanium!

It needs to be matte black. They ruined the pelagos with the sunburst, it’s a tool watch.

Needs a date and I would buy

Perhaps the size - including the omission of the helium escape valve. I only miss the date, otherwise it would be the best Pelagos, maybe even the best Tudor overall.

I hope they have a date variant too. Red text accent, 39mm buuut no date is such a miss.

Was going to buy it, and I liked it on my wrist. But in the end I didn’t as it just seemed a bit mainstream and boring to me.

If it had a date at 6 o’clock, this would be the ultimate watch.

Amazing watch but it’s same price as seamaster 300. Movement on seamaster is 2 steps above.

Well its a good thing then that people have different tastes. Seamaster 300 might have a better movement but it is bigger and is aesthetically unsimillar

It’s a nice looker, apart from the spec sheet on the dial.

Yes. Tudor is even installing more durable inserts on the OG 42mm Pelagos when they come in for service due to lume falling out of insert.

Considering you won't find any NEW Rolex for $4,600, yes 100%. Also keep in mind, that after say, the $5000 price point, what you're getting in terms of better specs/finishing/movement quality, etc. basically hits a plateau. You can only get so far. After that you're paying for movement finishing on casebacks for brands like JLC or A Lange and Sohne, or just for the overall brand prestige with brands like Rolex, Blancpain, etc.

Too boring for me but I understand the importance of the pelagos

It just tiny for me, 42 is the real perfect.

@@alanW3412 I have the 42 mm pelagos which has none of the shortcomings of the 39mm version. Bang for buck the 42mm is a far better deal as it’s not a lot more money than the 39mm.

Love this watch! It feels like a new interpretation of the Rolex 14060M, but more interesting with the radially brushed and lumed bezel, as well as the splash of red on the dial. Other great details too, but I’ll leave it at that. 🤌

Beautiful watch, but still too similar to the Submariner (less than the BB, but still the same case and overall design), and way overpriced.

Yes but it will be nowhere near as reliable, plus Chinese labour costs are a lot less and the Chinese company doesn't need to spend any money on marketing.

@@marcusskyfall only the first day I was glad that I managed to buy a rare specimen, I hunted for this for a whole year. But this watch is too small on my wrist 😰and went back to my rolex date just 41 and sub kermit and sold the pelagos losing $500.

HATE that the bezel is 60 click
